Can we trade one of our worthless olinemen for their worthless olineman? That would seem really fair to meAlex Leatherwood (he's not cut but I want a trade to happen)...
This was a surprise move though. He was penciled in as their starter but they let 2 younger guys who cost less stay. If he plays in a 3-4, he's definitely someone you have to kick the tires (assuming he is healthy).OLB Devon kennard is getting cut after two injry prone seasons in Arizona… moderate pass rush skills, excellent against the run… probably not going to get an offer to start and may be cheap for a season
I hear ya unless they come at about the same price as Snell or McFarland. Hopefully, we don't run with Najee and then Snell and McFarland. They haven't cut it for 3 years now. But, OL, OLB, ILB and even the secondary should all be on their radar to at least improve depth, if not compete for a starting spot. And, if they can give up a 3rd or 4th for a legit starter at one of our top 2 need areas, they should consider it.With Warren being a pleasant and extremely cheap surprise, i really think its silly to waste cap on a retread RB at this point… they need at least another olineman, maybe two… and probably an olb and ilb upgrade at backup. They may need a safety as well… at lets assume 2 million a pop to address those at the bare minimum level a serviceable upgrade will cost, they will already need to either not retain boykin or trade Rudolph just to make it work cap wise.. or push money out into the future…
Unless RB becomes an issue at this point you don’t address things
Always thought he should be kicked inside to guard. The cowboys attempt to trade for Chuma Edoga fell through… if he isn’t pricey to trade for, he may be worth the gamble
