Article says Darius was a cap cut from Philadelphia. Says he had a great season. He is 34 yrs old, but wants to play one more year.
Article also says he would be reunited with the STEELERS DC Austin. The two were together in Detroit.

Article acts like it’s Austin’s defense, but many know better than that.

HOME PAGE Article, good read

Yay, another geriatric DB.. just what we needed

That is my thoughts too.

Who would announce he wants to play just one more year???? That’s telling my he wants what ever $$$pay$$$ he can get before he whispers away………………….

I’d pass, but with this coaching staff & input………… it’s hard to not think they possibly go for it.

Peterson 2.0.... the issue is with these guys, that even if they have another year left in them, it often takes a year to really integrate into s teams scheme...

Its different when a 28 year old Joe Haden comes available.... mid 30's free agents are usually on the decline or broken in some shape or form...

There is a reason Dan Rooney stopped acquiring old vet players in the late sixties and just wanted to run with draft picks and in house developed guys...

Geez! Spend your money wisely Steelers. This ain’t it!
We need to add quality young talent not guys in their mid 30’s. He played for Austin in Detroit! So. what! Detroits defense also stunk then and Austin got fired before he moved on to Cincinnati and got fired once more.

Devonte Adams’ released, 32 years old, he’ll want north of 20 million, let him return to the “cold prairie.”
