Pretty white bread to me...where's the diversity? Oh yeah...because Hillary is running, the panel is diverse.

Chaffee started this "Holiday Tree" bullshit. For that alone, he should be eliminated.

what's up with O'Malley and Webb?

Jocularity...more jocularity

Capitol Hill was the site of intense negotiations this week as House and Senate leaders debated raising the debt ceiling. The request for more U.S. spending never ceases. Joe Biden just demanded more money for the War on Drugs after he heard that millions of kids are getting hooked on phonics.

I bet they won't be running or Talking about Obama's track record. I think Sanders will steal the stage, not because he's a master speak or politician, but because the others are turds and liars. Sanders is rather authentic and never ran a negative political add.

The lefties, especially the older ones love him. The guy is drawing crowds.

I'm thinking they will be running against Boosh, while conveniently forgetting that one of their own has been running the joint for the past seven years.

If Jeb was in front, they would play that baseless fear card. But he's not.

TIm Steelers fan will have to verify this but I believe O'malley is the Maryland Governor that signed the Rain Tax in to law.

My Bet is they will all bend over backwards promising more government programs(and bigger government) paid for by money that they get from making you evil 1%ers pay your fair share of taxes.

if they make Burgundy pay more taxes, and become worse off because of it, can he then identify himself as being black so as to make ark's internal racist happy?

here's what's up on o'malley

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley will launch his campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination Saturday in Baltimore. During the forthcoming campaign, it will be impossible for O'Malley to escape his past as a fiscal liberal who made higher taxes rain over Maryland.

Maryland was hit by 40 tax hikes costing $9.5 billion during O'Malley's eight years in office, from 2007-14. Tax-weary Marylanders made Republican Larry Hogan governor in 2014, bucking O'Malley's lieutenant governor, Anthony Brown, who was the Democratic candidate. Less-patient Marylanders voted with their feet and simply fled the state: Almost 72,000 people left Maryland from mid-2007 to mid-2014, according to Census Bureau data.

O'Malley didn't hit just the rich with his tax hikes; everyone from Ocean City to Cumberland felt the pain. The state sales tax rose to 6 percent and was applied to an increasing number of items. On the campaign trail, O'Malley may come to regret his infamous "rain tax," which imposed a fee on property owners due to storm water management efforts. Birth and death certificate fees doubled, taking more money from Marylanders on both ends of their life.

• Applying wholesale tax to gasoline sales (Transportation package)

• Income tax increase on Marylanders earning more than $100,000

• Reduction of personal income exemption for Marylanders earning more than $100,000

• Recordation tax applied to indemnity mortgages

• Increase tobacco tax rate from 15 to 70 percent for certain products

• Double death certificate fee

• Repeal of the sales tax exemption on penalty charges assessed on the late return of gas cylinders

• Double Bay Restoration fee ("Flush tax")

• Require counties to collect Storm Water Management Fee ("Rain tax")

• Increase Weights and Measures Registration fee

• Double Lead Poisoning Prevention Fund Fee

• New fee for major modifications under the Wetland Water Way Program

• Hospital assessment

• Alcoholic beverage sales tax increase from 6 to 9 percent

• Vehicle dealer processing charge

• Double vanity plate fee

• Double vehicle certificate of title fee

• Out of State Attorney Admission fee

• Increase in contractor licensing and renewal fees

• Double birth certificate fee

• Eliminates exemption of premium tax on worker's compensation

• Bridge and tunnel toll increases

• Fishing license and registration fees

• Speed cameras in school and work zones

• Increase the top marginal tax rate from 5.5 to 6.25 percent ("Millionaire's tax"), since expired

• Computer services tax

• New income tax marginal rates from 4.75 to 5.5 percent

• Increase sales tax from 5 to 6 percent

If any one of them truly has the EGO to try and win, they will go after Hilldog. I doubt any of them will. The Dems have done a great job of sticking together. The GOP needs to take a few lessons.

But, I sure hope someone does go after her and all of her scandals. It would have the potential to make her fall even harder and put that person on the map.

to the ultra-elite Dems, Benghazi is some small podunk town in one of the Dakotas and doesnt matter.

Predictions: A lot of softball questions intended to allow the candidates to compare themselves favorably with Republicans

made by a 4 year-old chinese boy in a NIKE sweatshop being paid TWICE the amount of rice per day as the 7 year-old girl making the same shoe with more years of experience.

Variations of "I can give you more stuff than the man/woman next to me" and "your kids will starve if you elect a republican and women will be forced into servitude as breeders".

Our unbiased media...color me shocked.

CNN's Anderson Cooper will moderate the first Democratic presidential debate this week, and unlike the previous Republican debate hosted by CNN, Cooper said he won't be encouraging confrontations between the candidates.

"I'm always uncomfortable with that notion of setting people up in order to kind of promote some sort of a face off," Cooper said Sunday on CNN's "Reliable Sources." "Look, these are all serious people. This is a serious debate. They want to talk about the issues and I want to give them an opportunity to do that."

Cooper's suggested style is a departure from the GOP debate hosted by CNN and moderated by Jake Tapper in September.

Before that debate, Tapper had said he was "trying to craft questions that, in most cases, pit candidates against the other."

I expect questions like "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be, and why do you think Republicans hate trees?"

O'Malley is basically "Tommy Carcetti" from The Wire on HBO.

No idea why anyone other than Hildawg and Sanders are even up there. Biden kinda needs to make his mind up soon.

My prediction is that Sanders absolutely shreds the other candidates in the debate and Hilary shows enough weakness in the polls that Biden is in the race before Thanksgiving.

The party fix is still in for Hilary but it might at least become a rave worth following if Biden enters.

Chafee has been trying to attack Hillary since he first announced, and I'm sure he'll try again during the debate. The problem is that he comes across as if he spent his entire childhood chewing on lead paint chips, so no one will even notice what he's saying....
