I think Dick will retire or best asked to retire after this year. They just need something new on D.
It's not LeBeau it's the personel on the field....we have 2 garbage OLB's in Jones & Worilds!
Our best OLB is a guy who's almost 37yrs old. Without an outside pass rush this Defense doesn't work so well.

I hear you but LeBeau will be the scapegoat on the D. Plus, as I said, we need something new. The D has been bad for several years. When you look around the league and see so many rookies and young guys excelling in a D and never on the Steelers, you need to go a different direction.
The Ravens didn't punt once this entire game.. They have been taking advantage of the 10 - 15 yard cushion all game long.
Not sure how old Rex is but he may be a very viable option.

I think he would enjoy playing against his former team too.

On the 4th and inches early in the 4th, we had our 2 MLBs lined up 4 yards off the los. That's all I need to know about this putrid defence. That and we forced 2 punts all night.

TAS - I really do not think Dick L gets to pick all his players Carte Blanch. If he does, I agree he needs to go. But if he is allowed to make all the picks, what does that say about the GM & HC? Shouldn't they be gone also then?
The same can be said for Mike Mitchell....IMO he should be paying the Steelers for a roster spot he was that bad all season.

Le Beau doesn't exactly have the most talent to work with. Troy and Ike are only a shell of what they used to be. You have a young DL and LB'ers and a patchwork defensive backfield. Its a miracle he was able to do what he did with this group.
This....drafting has stunk and all involved are to blame....Tomlin, Colbert, Dick, scouting...the Rooneys....

Mikey spoke to that saying that yes the Ravens like to go deep and get PI flags but that the D would play off ,also had to cover the short stuff, and have the answer......I guess it's back to the lab for the nutty professor.
