Did anyone honestly think Drew Brees wouldn't make a mockery of our D?

It's amazing we even have a winning record and a shot at the playoffs.
Bell and Brown are the only reasons we have the won any games.
Ben, Bell and Brown. Keep these 3 and throw in backups everywhere else I don't think our record is much different. Hell most of the other starters are backup caliber players anyway.

I knew they would score. I figured their Defense was worse than ours and we would score more than them and run the ball. I guess not.

I thought that we could only hope to keep Bree's off the field and limit the number of drives. We didn't do that. I've long argued that incomplete passes are a very under-rates statistic in losing. The Steelers had too many today, add the turnovers and you get a lopsided loss.

I watch this team and feel 50/50 at best going into games. Said it several times, We were watching a team that was 7-4 that looked more like a 4-7 team. Now 7-5.......8-8 on the horizon.
What are our chances at the Bengals this week? I'll put it at 50/50.... again.

After watching the Rats run on NO I figured the Steelers would at least try to control the LOS and turn LeVeon Bell loose.
Guess Tomlin and his staff missed that game?

This was my prediction. When we didn't establish the running game, and saw Ben missing his receivers, I figured we were in for a long afternoon.

Ben played yesterday's game like he had parlayed the over on the number of int's he would throw with the under on his QB rating. He makes a couple of relatively easy throws early and this was a completely different game.

well, Ben was spot-*******-on-accurate in garbage time.

Its sad that a layman can notice things a professional coach can't.

I knew we were in trouble after the first play - a bomb to nowhere

seen it happen before - they come out all cocky and swollen headed after the bye week and suck *** - another great game plan to lose against a losing team

plus I knew Ike and Troy coming back would doom the defense, I just knew it

Agreed, I don't think we need to see Ben with 58 pass attempts EVER!!!! Should've pounded the Saints with the ground game, we got away from it too soon.

I knew he would. He's still been killing teams this year, it's just he's thrown a lot of INTs. Since we don't get INTs, I figured it was going to be a long day for the D. I also thought we'd be able to move (run) the ball at will and keep the ball out of Brees' hands

I knew we would lose. Totally braced for it.
