On the first offensive play for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught a 16-yard pass that put him put him over the 1,000 yard mark for the first time in his career. He came into the game just 10 yards shy of that mark.

The last 1,000 yard receiving season by a Steelers wide receiver was in 2018 when both Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster bother passed that mark in the same season.

Johnson has been the clear #1 WR for this Steelers team for the past couple seasons, and this likely isn’t his first time passing this milestone in his career.

Never have so passes been throw to such a mediocre receiver rather watch paint dry than watch johnson. The reason the Steeler offense suks so bad is because it’s build around getting the ball to johnson. Why? He suks! He’s small and he’s slow my sister can tackle him! There is nothing about Johnson that says “build the offense around me!” Yet Canada has written game plans that has his getting over 150 targets! It unbelievable! When Bens gone Steelers going to find out just bad some of these players suk put johnson at the top of the list.

He'd have about 1500 yards if he'd stop running backwards.

Ben moved into 5th all time too.

Diontae is easily our best receiver. He obviously worked hard on his drops, and he deserves lots of targets. He's elusive, and plenty fast enough. With more hard work, he could be another AB for us (without the stupid).

Today’s victory brought to Steeler’s Nation by the “STEEL CURTAIN II”

If Ben had time to throw for more than one or two seconds we would be able to do so much more on offense. Our OL sucks so we have what we have.

I was VERY critical of Johnson and Ebron last season when they lead the league in drops for their respective positions. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am that Johnson clearly worked his *** off and greatly improved his catching. To me, that speaks of maturity, dedication and what I would consider real upside.

Ebron got a little better, but he still tends to have the dropsies. You can see what THAT lead to. (Muuuuuuth).

As much as I get irritated with situations, players, (cough cough) coaches, all I really want is to see the guys excel. To really really have a good old fashioned dominant game.

I got my wish with Ben last week with a monster 28 pt comeback in the 2nd half. If came up short, but only due to an amazing defensive play in the endzone.

Now, I want the receivers to have just a MONSTER ******* game. Just a great career day. (They can take turns over the last 3 games.) I also want to see the O-line and Najee have a superb, season-record game. Hell with it! Team Record!

Ya, I know. Unlikely. But a fellow can dream.
