The title is misleading be better patch.

I doubt Tomlin benched Mitch because DJ punched Mitch. You have better odds of Rudolph the red nosed third stringer flying to the north pole and subsequently Santa gifting him a season long starter position.

So basically everyone is saying it was a verbal argument but one guy who also said that Pittsburgh media had reported the punch then dropped it… which nobody can correlate so its probably an exaggerated take on the mitch Dj spat… verbal arguments aren’t exactly rare in locker rooms… especially between wrs and qbs… cause wrs always think they are open

Mitch is a straight shooter. I’m interested what he has to say after leaving the Steelers.
I don’t believe Dionte has the hands to hit anyone, he probably dropped his punches before they could even connect. Heck, he could’ve punched backwards and hit himself

I can tell you this much and guys on here that played HS and college ball will agree. What happens in a football locker room stays in a football locker room for the most part.
I only played as far as HS and can remember back to those days and it was like a fraternity then and everyone stuck together and I'm sure its the same now so I wouldn't expect to hear anyone of these players divulge much if anything, and if there was actually any truth to this story to begin with. It's like an unwritten code. They won't talk!
Coolie makes a valid point! Bless his pointy little head! Its probably no more than just click bait!

Hate to break it to you, but they've actually been pure pyrite. Worth virtually nothing LOL

"Fool's gold" is a common nickname for pyrite. Pyrite received that nickname because it is worth virtually nothing,

Poni is an imbecile way too frequently… those fan guys try to hard to be edgy… they aren’t Madden… it doesn’t work… lol
He probably just made the **** up. The guy tries to hard to be over the top and doesn't seem to care if he is accurate.

Today’s generation is different. Technology/social media says hi.

And if he did punch him, so what? That’s between them two

Hard to believe any of this but the way the NFL is today who knows. I cannot or want to believe Tomlin would have benched Mitch and not Johnson if true.
