Good article from Steelers Depot. I know we have covered the topic before. A good comparison piece.

What I get from this is offense still needs a body or two. Any offensive minded ex coaches floating around?

I've heard lowest total pay for coaching staff and if under manned that can contribute to that fact.

I'm all in for bringing in quality coaching regardless, but then again it isn't my $$$$peso$$$$ involved either.

Outside organization helps hold accountability to those already there.

Total lowest pay makes sense given they have one of the smallest coaching staffs. You figure Tomlin is one of the highest paid head coaches and I saw someone tweet out Butler's pay and if it was accurate, seemed reasonable for a coordinator. I always viewed them being "cheap" because they don't fire coaches, just let the contracts run out.

The Rooney’s are classic penny pinchers we traditionally have the cheapest coaching payroll. That’s why they don’t fire the hc’s sometimes it’s rewarded sometimes not.

Nowhere even close Drink….that award goes to Mike Brown and the Bungles franchise. Smallest front office, smallest scouting staff, notoriously lightweights in the FA market.
