Do you want Trubisky to succeed and we win...or stink/lose and possibly get Pickett

I hate to say it as I never hope for a Steelers loss, but this is the exception. If it means Mitch being benched.... may the Browns score 70.
I wanted Russell Wilson, was hard set against Trubisky. One of the posters here convinced me he was a diamond in the rough, so I supported bringing him in....yeah...NO! The consensus is unless Tomlin is insane we will see Kenny against the Jets. Make it so.

NEVER wish for a loss or the ******** attitude that goes towards that.

I understand your sentiment, but if Mitch plays well enough to beat the Browns that probably means we get to see him against the Jets, Bills, Bucs, Fins. While the jets game might be winnable for him it might be enough for Tomlin to want him to play the next three. I see disaster going down that road. Like I said I have never wished for a loss..until now.

That's your right but if Mitch can turn the corner for the win he sure as hell can improve along the way for more wins. I don't think you should be rooting against Mitch but more so in the line of whole offensive improvement because Kenny Pickett isn't going to do much better if the OC doesn't improve.

Like I said, I'll never root for a loss, can't convince me ever.!

Look, with the OL we have, no one is going to look good. I think Pickett will eventually be better than Trubisky but he won't be a savior this season. Unless some switch was turned off before, we cannot run the ball effectively and have no serious long passing game, so that leaves the short passing game we've all come to know and love. I fully expect a 2 TD loss tonight.

That’s so weak.

You are probably right. I have just kind of lost hope when it comes to Mitch, especially when you watch the All 22 clips with WRs and Muth running wide open while Mitch immediately throws the check down...it's really disheartening. I hope I'm wrong and dude gets it together at least at a level where we are competitive with the big dogs. He is going to have to throw it deep and not " live in his fears."

The line was not really the issue last week and played much better.

There were multiple plays last week where he had receivers open deep and had time in the pocket. He just won't fling it. He'd better tonight.

Doesn’t matter what Mitch does or doesn’t not do. He is your starter for the season but for injury.

That is their intention sure. But I wonder if the L's start stacking if that intention changes.

I don't want to see KP at all this year but we probably will. The offense has everything it needs right now except a respectable scheme, run game, pass route combinations that make sense for the players we have, consistent pass blocking...

Either Canada and OL coach are gone next year or KPs future is going to be the next Blake Bortles. I suppose they COULD CHANGE their philosophies and turn it around THIS year but When things don't work, you change what you are doing. Only an insane person keeps doing the same thing HOPING for different results.

This game may tell us whether they are WILLING to change some things to get some results. We will also find out whether our RUN D is fixed/better than the last few years.

Mitch is so so, nothing special... Just play Pickett, what's the worst he plays so so...

You can't be serious.

I guess I just don't understand the end game at QB

You don't sign the top (arguably) free agent QB and then draft a QB at #20.

If Mitch is great, you keep playing him and the #20 pick is wasted. If he stinks, you lose a year while your #1 draft pick gets rusty and sits behind someone who stinks.

If you liked KP so much you drafted him after you just signed a 28 y/o QB, then you play him. It isn't like he is "learning" behind Aaron Rodgers.

Face it, this is just "getting our money's worth" by starting Mitch
