I get peaceful protest but this guy has a work condition related to his prison release. He doesn't go to work, he goes back to jail. I remember a friend of mine a couple years ago got caught on one of the bridges going into Boston that was blocked by protestors who handcuffed their wrists together thru a steel barrel. He said two truckers went up to them and threatened to throw them off the bridge into the water by their feet if they didn't get off the highway.

And what part of the 1st Amendment right to "peaceably" assemble eludes their narrow minds? One can reason that shutting down traffic for any extended period of time may bring undue hardship to any one individual, whether financial, medical, familial, etc. Nothing peaceable about that.

Several years ago, IDK maybe 10, these insurrectionists blocked Shea Blvd. out here, the only road to the Mayo Clinic.
