I think Sessions is a Casper milk toast compared to Holder. Remember now, he recused himself and appointed Mueller, he never followed up on any of Hillary's (or any of the DNC's many transgressions, for that matter) destroyed e-mails, cell phones or servers. I haven't heard of any worthwhile prosecution since he's been in office.
So yeah Joe, Trump is whittling away at his agenda but I don't see anything coming from Sessions. All I could find was his firing those 48 DOJ lawyers, but that's considered standard fair in today's politics when a different Party takes over..

I reposted this on Facebook, stating the following:
This case affects me. I am one who's First Amendment Rights are violated by this political gerrymandering specifically designed to make my vote irrelevant. I hope, as SCOTUS did with the Travel Ban, we will finally get a sensible ruling on these political machinations that ought to be illegal.
"The challenge in Maryland centers on the 6th Congressional District in Western Maryland, which was redrawn to include parts of heavily Democratic Montgomery County. The plaintiffs say that in the mandatory redrawing of congressional districts after the 2010 census, the state’s Democratic leaders diluted the number of Republican voters in the district to ensure that a Democrat would win."
I disagree with this. The governor should appoint someone, a Republican of course, to fill Conyers' seat because the people in that district are still entitled to representation.

"Jonathan Kinloch, who chairs the Democratic Party in the 13th District, wanted Snyder to set the special election to coincide with the regularly scheduled election dates in August and November, even though it leaves the seat vacant for months. He said the district offices remain open to serve constituents in the meantime.
“This seat only becomes available once every 50 years,” Kinloch said this week. “We all know that in those special elections that are called outside the normal election cycle that voter turnout is less.”

I never visited Detroit until I went to see a close friend a few years ago. She lived in the Grosse Point area of town, and really a very nice area.
She showed me how close the picture above actually is. Literally crossing one street you go from well manicured lawns and stately mansions to utter devastation. Never seen anything like that.
