Don't break your back around Matthew Stafford.

I think I have seen that clip before...

Everyone reacts differently in situations. Matt was probably thinking about making babies................. WAIT.... that would have been phillip rivers.!

If true, I'm glad he is helping with medical.

He didn't push or cause her to back up but unfortunately didn't react in a good way either.

I just hope the lady turns out ok health and future-wise.

Salute the nation

I don’t understand this at all. Why is it his responsibility to react? Was he the only person there, did it happens right next to him? **** sake.

Did you watch it? Say you or you woman falls down. In the process you/her is seriously hurt. The witness sees it then does a complete turn around and walks away while you are laying there. That is ok with you? I somehow think that would upset you. I mean it is ok they just leave yinz there right even though it isn't their responsibility to react. If yinz die... yinz die right?

Again. Was I the only person there and immediately close to it? No. He wasn’t. Countless folks and folks closer.

Don’t lump me in some POS person that wouldn’t help someone. My point is why is it his ******* responsibility when there are countless others closer than he?

I must have forgot he has his clinical degree.

I think the look on Kelly's face and her running towards the poor woman pretty much says what should've been done. Pretty sure Matt says, "Oh, my God" as he walks away. Maybe he came back immediately - who knows with news blips. Personally, I would've jumped off the stage to help her right then, but that's just me.

I don't think it was his responsibility to jump off the stage shitfaced and perform any emergency medical procedure, but if a woman falls backwards off of a 6-foot stage onto concrete while trying to take your picture, would your immediate reaction be to just turn around? Not a good look for Stafford, although I'm sure he didn't have any ill intentions.

They saw it immediately.

The right thing to do in that situation is at least check on that person... make a phone call if need be.

So his wife had a clinical degree?

You can say all you want make all the excuses you want but it says a lot about a person that doesn't help someone in a time of need. Not my problem someone else can do it. SMH

He turned around grabbed some water and pretended he didn't see it.

Anyone who would do that is a piece of ****.

You don't want to be lumped into a category but if you think that is ok it says a lot about you too.

Did we really did a drunk Matt Stafford helping in that situation?

Perhaps he picks up a phone. Or at least shows some concern. He could have simply looked to see if everything was ok.
Alcohol didn't make him turn completely around and pretend not to see the fallen woman.

I hear you and I hear where ICS is coming from as well (and we don't know the full context), but my initial reaction if a woman taking my picture falls backwards off a 6-foot stage on to concrete would be one of genuine concern, inebriated or not. But I also don't think we should be bellyaching about it back & forth either. If he's going to be handling her medical bills, whether he tried to run to her rescue or not really doesn't matter in the end because she was destined to hit that concrete either way. Optics just looked bad.

Matt might be really old school too and drags his wife around by the hair on the ground when she can't walk on her own. Kidding guys/gals. Kidding.

He purposefully turned the other way when he saw her fall. Not denying that, but everyone will react differently in that type of situation.

At least he didn't throw up on her afterwards. That would have been a totally dick move...

The off season is amusing in it's own right.

Not the best look admittably. Obviously he didn't want to be involved, and would rather have someone else keep care of the situation. We'd all like to think we are knights in shining armor. But you never really know until you are presented the opportunity. One thing I do know. There are cameras filming everywhere. Be on your best behavior ladies and gentlemen.
