I guess this starts to answer the question of what you do with Edmunds, Watt and Heyward. Now it's just Watt and Heyward. Feels like they knew where they were headed and this will at least let Edmunds try to get another team early on.

Not going to keep him. (Derek) Watt and (Connor) Heyward will be the two (assuming Heyward works out on special teams). As noted, Steelers are being classy by giving him a chance to latch on elsewhere ... albeit at the last second before TC. Better than the end of TC.

I don't think Derek should be making his paycheck but he hasn't got a fair shake either. I think they are clearly making room for a better back that must be available.
