Ben Roethlisberger threw 5 interceptions during the Steelers horrendous day against the Jaguars on Sunday. The Steelers won’t win any games if that happens, especially when two are returned for touchdowns. Many other factors led to the interceptions and ultimately the beat down of the home team. Like he always does when the Steelers struggle, […]

That leads me to Todd Haley. What in the hell is he doing? This is a bland offense. There’s no creativeness.

Worse he isn't calling games that make sense. His O has been mediocre all year against mediocre competition.

Not good calling card.

That was some weak sauce. Ben is the problem no matter how bad the author wants it not to be.

You can get everybody healthy, get Bryant to run routes like Brown and you are still going to have problems because when the ebb and flow calls for certaon offensive tactics the QB has too much say and he is usually wrong.

Case in point: the attempted throw to AB along the left side of the end zone. That play called for a double move.....that play was changef by Ben at the line......really? A play that can be called ANYWHERE but inside the 10 and that's what you call? How is the receiver going to make a double move bracketed against the sideline and running toward the back of the end zone???

The QB is 80% of the problem.

Decastro being a penaly machine this year hasn't helped.

Not sure I buy 80%

Haley calls ****** game plans - 23%
Ben is forcing balls, bad decision making. 25%
Martavis isn't the Martavis of old. 22%
O-line not being where they need to be as a unit - 17%
Juju isn't here he needs to be. - 13%

Might as well place a traffic cone out in place of Hubbard too. Guy is not doing well on the exterior

I hope I'm wrong and you are right. Maybe Ben has just enough left if all the stars align, but I have little faith.

The entire unit sucks. It's pretty clear. Starts with the line. Always did and it always will.

Yeah it is hard to tell at this point.

If Hubbard wasn't so substandard perhaps Ben has more time to throw.
If Decastro was more consistent in pass blocking ditto
If Bryant didn't lose some burst, perhaps Ben doesn't feel the need to force as many balls.
If Juju wasn't a rookie perhaps he is more crisp in his route running.
If we had a better TE, perhaps that middle of the field opens up more frequently.
If Haley called better games, perhaps it minimizes some of these listed weaknesses.

If Steelers would have adequately replaced Timmons perhaps the run D wouldn't be as bad as what we have seen. Along with sub-ing in Deebo against predominate run teams.

So as Ben should get his fair share of the blame he earned his suck, and should bathe in it.

Others should be jumping in that tub with him rubber ducky-in it.

Because on this team there is a lot of **** that is floating to the top.

Not just Big Ben's.

Its the playcalling and the O line for the most part, Ben also really misses heath Miller. I would say Ben looked like total **** but he wasn't getting help anywhere but Brown. Its no wonder brown lost his mind last week, through it all he is still the #1 wr in the league catches and yards. Unlike Bell his performance isn't held back as much by the O-line and the playcalling.

Towards the end of the game, when we're more in a hurry, wasn't Ben calling the plays?

In any event on one 3rd and goal, Ben seems to audible and threw a pass to Brown that had no chance of being a TD. We got a FG, instead. I didn't go back and watch any of that **** heap of a game, so there might not have been anyone else open and, of course, we don't know what play he audibled out of.

That was exactly the case

Relax

8-8 should get us in the playoffs in the pitifully weak AFC North
