ESPN bought Redzone and may add commercials. Worse yet, they'll probably add their horrible "talent" to talk nonsense.
You sure got that right Berm. While I am sure there are existing contracts to fill the coming years will be interesting. What really pisses me off,is say you have Disney plus. And you think….no problem I can get all the games with my regular monthly subscription. Sure as **** they will introduce another tier of premium membership for NFL games at some huge cost because they are slowly but surely monopolizing the games.Boooo!!!
You know they will, they just can’t help themselves. Why purchase it if they can’t add commercials for more revenue, not to mention forcing us to watch and listen to two more bozos/bozerettes who are adding their f:;king face time instead of immediately showing more action in another game.Oh man, I hope they don’t **** this up with commercials and adding their ridiculous, stupid analysts or it will be ****** up.
Just leave it as is. It doesn’t require your so called fixing.
I don’t think they will. I know ol girl loves the current format but not highly confident in anything ESPN does.I'm sure the price will go up and they'll probably tie it in with the standalone ESPN streaming service I keep hearing about. RedZone is as close to a pure sports broadcast that we have and Scott Hansen is an all-pro as host. There's nothing they can do to improve the product so they better leave this one alone.
I cut all of those channels out years ago,so it's no loss or gain for me.
Of course they'll stick it into some **** ing package to make you buy.
Netflix just signed exclusive broadcasting for 2027 and 2031 women’s World Cup soccer games. This used to be regular programming on Fox network. While some of you will say,……who gives a **** about women’s soccer,it’s actually a big draw and I believe just the start of things to come.
Netflix could say sign the US Open in tennis, while Amazon signs The Masters in Golf. While the Stanley Cup gets signed to HBO. The day of flipping channels on cable tv on a rainy Sunday in October, going from a football game to a baseball playoff game to a hockey game is going to be history one day. They are going to make you pay your *** off one day for all sorts of streaming services. While your favorite players sit out demanding more money and sign record contracts.
I get the feeling the bitching I used to do at the cost of normal cable vision is going to seem like a drop in the bucket compared to what’s coming.
