A height speed guy that didn't make it in his first go around, doing well in the XFL. Worth a look!

Thanks for posting, might make practice squad, BUT glad they are bringing in various parts.

You never know……..

Salute the nation

Thought Butler was a great pick in the fourth round coming out of Iowa State in 2019; not sure what happened with him. Big, tall wideout with good hands.

I like that the Steelers are looking in many places for talent. Keep digging.
While they are looking at the XFL for talent, they may want to take a look at Butler's Offensive Coordinator. It's a name that should be familiar to them ... Bruce Gradkowsi.
Not saying he should be hired to replace Canada (not saying he shouldn't either). But, bringing him in as an offensive assistant with an eye toward growing into a coordinator?

That couldn't hurt to bring him in as an assistant. He's a Pittsburgh native too. I really hope the Steelers have plan B in the works if this Canada offense looks like hot garbage again.

I mean everything is pointing toward a commitment to running the ball aggressively. Right?

I think their plan is to have Glenn Thomas or Mike Sullivan take over play-calling duties. It's not a plan I agree with. But, I guess it's a plan.
As for running the ball aggressively, I think they want to operate similarly to Tennessee where the offense pretty much runs through Derrick Henry with Tannehill as a game manager who is capable of distributing the ball on passing downs. I can get on board with this while Kenny is still learning the pro game. I just question whether Canada's motion-heavy, "distraction" based offense is the proper vehicle for their vision.

The dates are as follows.

interestingly enough, Todd Haley's offense isnt doing **** in the USFL.
kinda shines up Ben's ability in retrospect in that he was able to do something with a horse **** offense.

After a 17 yd gain over the middle can you hear it ?

H---AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA----KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE----MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.....
