FBI uncovered tens of thousands more documents in Clinton email probe

The FBI’s year-long investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server uncovered tens of thousands more documents from her time as secretary of state that were not previously disclosed by her attorneys.

The State Department is expected to discuss when and how it will release the emails Monday morning in federal court.

The total — confirmed by the Justice Department -- was disclosed by a conservative legal group after the State Department said last week that it would hand over the emails. The number to be released is nearly 50 percent more than the 30,000-plus that Clinton’s lawyers deemed work-related and returned to the department in December 2014.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton tweeted Monday morning that the “FBI found almost 15,000 new Clinton documents. When will State release them?” In an interview, he said: “It looks like the State Department is trying to slow-roll the release of the records. They’ve had them for at least a month, and we still don’t know when we’re going to get them.”

New emails show Huma Abedin expediting 'pay for play' schemes for Clinton Foundation

Documents obtained ifrom the state department by Judicial Watch as part of an FOIA suit show that Hillary Clinton's top aide Huma Abedin facilitated meetings between Clinton Foundation donors and the secretary of state.

In several cases, the donors were forced to go through the Clinton Foundation to arrange the meeting after normal channels had denied them.

The Abedin emails reveal that the longtime Clinton aide apparently served as a conduit between Clinton Foundation donors and Hillary Clinton while Clinton served as secretary of state. In more than a dozen email exchanges, Abedin provided expedited, direct access to Clinton for donors who had contributed from $25,000 to $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Included among the Abedin-Band emails is an exchange revealing that when Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain requested a meeting with Secretary of State Clinton, he was forced to go through the Clinton Foundation for an appointment. Abedin advised Band that when she went through “normal channels” at State, Clinton declined to meet. After Band intervened, however, the meeting was set up within forty-eight hours. According to the Clinton Foundation website, in 2005, Salman committed to establishing the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP) for the Clinton Global Initiative. And by 2010, it had contributed $32 million to CGI. The Kingdom of Bahrain reportedly gave between $50,000 and $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. And Bahrain Petroleum also gave an additional $25,000 to $50,000.

What else is a meeting with the highest ranking foreign policy official in the United States government but a favor? Also to consider is the fact that regular channels on at least two of these pay for play incidents were blocked off and the donor was forced to approach the Foundation as a last resort. It's textbook extortion.

Emails reveal how foundation donors got access to Clinton and her close aides at State Dept.

A sports executive who was a major donor to the Clinton Foundation and whose firm paid Bill Clinton millions of dollars in consulting fees wanted help getting a visa for a British soccer player with a criminal past.

The crown prince of Bahrain, whose government gave more than $50,000 to the Clintons’ charity and who participated in its glitzy annual conference, wanted a last-minute meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

U2 rocker and philanthropist Bono, also a regular at foundation events, wanted high-level help broadcasting a live link to the International Space Station during concerts.

In each case, according to emails released Monday from Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, the requests were directed to Clinton’s deputy chief of staff and confidante, Huma Abedin, who engaged with other top aides and sometimes Clinton herself about how to respond.

The release of the correspondence follows previous disclosures of internal emails showing a similar pattern of access for foundation contributors, and it comes as Republicans allege that Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, used her perch in the Obama administration to trade favors for donations.

Donald Trump calls for a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton Foundation scandal

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump urged for the appointment of a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton's involvement with the Clinton Foundation during her tenure as US secretary of state during a rally in Akron, Ohio, on Monday.

Trump accused his Democratic rival of corruption, claiming that donors of the foundation were given preferential treatment and awarded with special favors.

He went on to say that the investigation calls for special circumstances, as the US Department of Justice "has proven itself to be a political arm of the White House."

"After the FBI and Department of Justice whitewash of the Clinton email crimes, they certainly cannot be trusted to quickly or impartially investigate Hillary Clinton's crimes," Trump said at a campaign rally in Akron, alluding to Clinton's use of a private email server.

No one can deny it. The problem is we're so used to it from our political figures, especially those on the democratic side, that people don't give a **** and think it's just "big business politics", which is what the democratic party has basically become. Global economic dominance and kickbacks/access to keep everyone in line. I'm sure every major political power right now around the world is doing the same thing. Merkel, the EU commissioner, Hollande, Cameron, Trudeau, et. al.

It's all funneling money from the Middle East, South America and East Asia where they are abusing trade agreements, labor rights, human rights, etc. into the banks/politicians of the West (U.S. and Europe) so they look the other way in a huge payoff scam on a global level. They also create ways for tax money from the West to go to the third world so those political despots can skim off the top as well (so that money gets cycled back to the private/political sector in the west).

It's literally a huge scam job. The more money politicians/bankers work in unity to "move around" the globe, the more they can skim off the top and maintain their power. Every bullshit, supposedly "altruistic" distribution of wealth is just a means to skim off the top.

Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein blasted Hillary Clinton’s emails, saying Tuesday that the former secretary of state risked the lives of CIA secret agents and crossed the line in mixing her family’s personal business with her duties as chief diplomat.

Ms. Stein appears intent on not repeating the mistakes of Sen.Sanders, who refused to question Mrs. Clinton’s “damn emails” and lost to her in the Democratic primary.
