It's a damn shame Lucas sold his soul and his masterpiece to Disney. So many references in that movie to so many things that's happened and is happening in our country you'd have to be blind to not see it.
 
Did you see that The Philippines just told the US that we could not store military supplies there?

Not surprised....good for them. Would you buddy up to a country as in debt and as unstable as the US?

No, but we have a very long tradition of military involvement with them (since the Spanish-America war) and they sit a few feet from China.

Fear and misunderstandings. Most of our problems today definitely stem to conflicting disagreements

Bidens America has very quickly lost its leadership role. Biden pulled out of Afghanistan and left our allies flat footed, not ready for that action. Bidens America is not trustworthy on the international stage.

Right. I'm not necessarily saying that this is surprising, wrong, etc. It's just a very significant change in a region that is currently very volital. It shows another change in an all-too predictable situation, which may well impact our nation in a huge way.
