The Pittsburgh Steelers offense has struggled to score since it began 2020 averaging 30 ppg through the first 10 games. There is room for improvement and hope – if they can continue to exploit the opportunities afforded by the tactics and strategy of offensive coordinator Matt Canada – as they did in the 2nd quarter vs. the Las Vegas Raiders in a 7-play, 75-yard drive to take a 7-6.

For video—All 22 just came out so some tech glitches hurts production.

To see Film on 6 plays on 7 play drive plz go to homepage.

Highlights include:

Using the pitch run to Najee Harris. Ben can go under center and either run it or play action it.

Harris draws attention. On pitch fake 10 Raiders bit. On JuJu TD they focused on Harris.

No huddle, up tempo, pre snap motion, it all led to Ben having time to go over top & beat press coverage. DJ’s 41-yard dime catch, Claypool also got behind defender for likely easier TD.

OL can get push with young legs and get downfield, execution of completing blocks - particularly Green - something to watch.

Thanks. It’ll get better—only limited time to deal with unexpected tech glitches.

But twice running no huddle and getting teams off balance showed it can give Ben more time to beat the press coverage we face every week.
