Yes without a doubt our coaching sucks from the top down but with the exception of a couple players, I'm not really sure the talent is up to par. I think both aspects need a lot of attention. Maybe the talent is there and they're not being managed properly. Maybe a flushing of coaches similar to when Cowher took over would bring back the mindset of coaching to the players strengths as opposed to forcing them into a game plan that simply doesn't match their skills. You know the round peg, square hole scenario. We have more talent than that… geez us they really have got themselves in a pickle… the chargers are killing it over there with noll jr as hc and half the play roll on defense… it’s coaching!!! Butler, Canada, randy fuknutz are behind the times! I can live with tomlin but our coords have to be rethought! I’m sick of rehashing the obvious on here, it’s been clear as a bell and has been for a while. the 11-0 was a red herring we had veteran team in middle of pandemic but once things settled coaches figured out butlers defense could not stop run and randy fuknutz’s offense couldn’t run the ball we have been getting bbq’d every since. Ben’s getting all the blame but it’s coaching!!!
Don't forger in our last three playoff games, all losses, our opponents scored 40 or more points in each of them.Getting a good look at post Ben and the Tomlin era.
I am pretty sure that Hairball has won more playoff games than Tomlin.Don't forger in our last three playoff games, all losses, our opponents scored 40 or more points in each of them.
Most of the defense, offense only Harris and maybe Freiermuth. That said it would be interesting to see how many of our players would actually start on a team that is a legitimate playoff contender. I think most would be on the bench but that's just my .02.

IMHO it's Ben and injuries scuttling this season thus far.
The team has assumed Tomlin’s identity...
They give good press conference but can’t get **** done between the lines. A coach that gives up during games trying to keep it close will have a team that does the same...pitiful
It will be like this until he goes, Super Ben ain’t here to mask all the weakness of the coaching staff anymore.
Get rid of the entire offensive side, bring in Bienemy (or any coach that is a Rooney rule hire-that’s our prospect pool) and let the new HC decide Butler’s fate.

We're officially, "historically bad" at this point.Damn that's a good stat. Sad but true.
In fairness, some of those points were on pick 6's and other turnovers from the O, but still....MORE reason to dump Butler as DC, maybe keep as LB coach but that would depend on "D" scheme.
I was around for 1991 when we had a 5 or 6 game stretch where the defense scored more points than the offense did. We're officially, "historically bad" at this point.
