I think he nails it and gets the job, now what do they do about the problem GM? The guy is an @$$. No one like the guy yet Khan keeps him. Retarded. Maybe Flores refuses the gig if the GM stays there.

A lot of these owners you have to wonder how much they really care about winning as the revenue sharing makes it profitable no matter what you do. How long did Mike Brown allow the Bungles to wallow in their own **** and it seemed like he could care less about what they accomplished on the field.

It's almost(we haven't sunk that low yet) like the situation we have with Art 2 ,only Mike Brown was farther down the family line. It's that whole wealth handed to you thing and old money making easy new money. It's the complacency that comes with it. That's my take on it anyway, and it excludes the Rooney Rule situation with Tomlin that of course also affects the current situation with the Steelers as well.

If things continue the way they are though Art is going to have a choice to make. Pittsburgh isn't New York or L.A. He isn't going to be able to go Homer Simpson.

It's a smaller city and he's going to have to face friends and fans who are going to continually get more and more upset and less supportive with what the team is becoming because of the coaching situation.

I don't know if flores is HC material but sure as hell he is a great DC. He couldn't develop Tua in Miami, after he left the kid started to improve.

I wouldn't put that all on Flores yet, it could have been a timing thing, we will know more in a year or so.

I really don’t know if Coach Brian Flores can be a good HC. I hope he gets the opportunity and becomes a great one.
I do know this though….Great DC and should have been elevated to DC here over the inept Terrell Austin.

As long as Tomlin is in charge, ALL coaches will have to accept being hamstrung by his philosophies. I have to think that Flores saw this during his rehabilitation tour, and got out of Dodge on the first train.

I would take Flores as a HC
I'm still not convinced that he is really HC material. He appears to have a limited ceiling level of DC. Don't get me wrong, you can make a very good living with this limitation, and it is nothing to be ashamed of.

If it meant hiring GM and replacing Mike next year sign me up.

That being said I prefer an offensive minded coach.
What has Kahn done for you to think he is not a quality GM? I think his issue is that Tomlin has been in place for so long that AR2 is not giving Kahn 100% autonomy. Same way they put training wheels on Tomlin for the first number of years.

Kahn has done a very good job in my opinion. He has headed up the Drafts, and done well so far. Sure he may not have attacked the WR2 position to many people's satisfaction, but at least he didn't go out and cripple the future cap situation chasing someone.

I really think the O philosophy has been much more a hinderance than not having an OBVIOUS WR2. With the proper game plan, Muth is WR2, and they have WR3 & WR4 candidates.

Art has what few owners have..6 superbowl trophies in the case. You can ride that a long time.

Only those patriot***** fags have as many. I'd like the Steelers to get 7 just so they're not tied with those cookies suckers.

I agree, but the Lombardis are both a blessing and a curse. They may insulate you from criticism for a while but the other side of that coin is because of that success the fans expect what fans of "lesser" franchises don't.

Yes,sir. That's the standard we expect them to be knocking on the door to in more years than not.

Now the "standard" is just coach speak and **** that gets printed on t-shirts.

When you lose something like that, whether you want to call it mojo or culture,it's really hard to get it back. You would almost need a bridge now from the past to carry you to the future.

If enough time goes by nobody will ever remember what was lost.

not really sure how that GM got there I think it was an autocorrect. Oddly I don’t remember what I intended to say there.😂
