They basically replaced Harrington with this Percy kid signing.

AHL bound - pretty low risk, some upside, signing that could pay off.

Zatkoff to the Kings. Good locker room guy. Not up in arms though. Thanks for your services in Game 1 of the playoffs

Damn! Okposo would look good in a Pens uniform. He'd compliment Letang well on defensive pairings

Pittsburgh Penguins ✔ @penguins
Penguins General Manager Jim Rutherford has signed a three-year contract extension

The #Penguins agreed to a two-year contract extension with assistant coach Jacques Martin

Josh Yohe ✔ @JoshYohe_PGH
Penguins announce LW Tom Sestito has been re-signed. One year. Two-ways. $575,000.. Not a shock. Knows his role. 87&71 love him. Something to be said for that.

Pittsburgh Penguins ✔ @penguins
The #Pens have re-signed Steve Oleksy to a one-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $575K

The #Pens have signed d-man David Warsofsky to a one-year, two-way contract. Welcome back!

The #Pens have signed defenseman Cameron Gaunce to a one-year, two-way contract

But wait... There's more. PIT signs d-man Chad Ruhwedel to a one-year, two-way contract

So we filled up the baby Pens tanks - call it a day

We couldn't keep lovejoy at that cost?

Don't get it

Right up against the cap = right up against the cap

I am more for midseason hockey trade deals anyway. Those seem to work better.

Perhaps some of these players drafted may be on the Pittsburgh roster come October

ha

Oct, 3-4 years from now, maybe!

Sprong will be OUT 7-to-8 months after shoulder surgery

I think Hall has decent size. Not expecting them to show anything right away. Sprong held up ok last season. In today's game, youngins can make an impact. I'm not looking for any major changes for the Pens roster wise. A few new faces. I can see someone being called up soon

Josh Yohe ✔ @JoshYohe_PGH
Pens still want to sign Cullen. Still waiting to hear. They know Minny is interested. They aren't sure how many other teams are involved.

Cullen increased his value after these playoffs. I don't think he'll take a discount to stay. If he does, I'll buy his jersey.

Doesn't look good

NHL Free Agent Rumors: Matt Cullen to Return to the Minnesota Wild?

Fresh off an unforgettable Stanley Cup Playoff run with the Penguins, 39 year old Matt Cullen believes he still has one more year left in him. Cullen originally wanted to return for one more season with the Penguins, but due to salary cap restraints, it looks like the chances of Cullen resigning in Pittsburgh are slim to none. So is Cullen going to retire? Not so fast.

According to Michael Russo of the Star Tribune, there have been talks that the Wild are very interested in bringing Matt Cullen back on a one-year deal.

Matt Cullen was a favorite when he was with the Wild. They could surely use him. After buying out Vanek they have some cap room. However I'll believe it when I see it.

He's in a choice between us and Minny. I think he goes to the Wild considering he's from there and will probably want to finish out his career at home. If so then thanks for memories Cullen. You were an awesome player for the Pens and happy to get you another ring
