Another playoff game and another piss poor performance to start the game as we watched a pathetic effort from the offense and a completely gassed Defense that was on the field for 21 of the first 30 minutes of this game while our offense managed 60 yds & 2 first downs while losing 21-0 at the Half. Time of Possession in this one was almost 2 to 1 in favor of the Ravens.

I'm not sure where to start but this season should rank right up there as one of Mike Tomlin's worst December collapses of All-Time! Losing the last 5 games but not just losing the games.....I'm talking about getting absolutely destroyed and dominated in every contest! Week in, week out we saw the Steelers come out unprepared and go down several scores before the Steelers offense even got going. Yes they were good opponents but the lack of effort from the Steelers players in game is a glaring problem! Who's to blame? I'm pointing the blame right at the guy at the top....Mike Tomlin!

It all starts with coaching and getting the team prepared to play during the week leading up to Gameday! I'm sorry but I see absolutely no reason to keep Mike Tomlin as Head Coach. He has done absolutely nothing that we can't achieve with any other average football coach! I know he's never had a losing season but cmon man....8 seasons under Tomlin where he's lost 3 of his last 4 or 4 of his last 5 games and he tops it off this year with 5 straight losses. He's a complete embarrassment to this organization! The guy is the definition of mediocre! If you want to compare him with Bill Cowher that happened twice to Bill Cowher coached teams....1998 & 1999. And for the record Bill Cowher had terrible QB's (Neil O'Donnell, Kordell Stewart, Jim Miller, Kenth Graham, Mike Tomczak, Tommy Maddox until Big Ben was drafted. Tomlin had Big Ben for 15 seasons!

I really hope the Steelers don't think Russell Wilson is the future at QB for the Steelers because he failed his audition this season to remain the starting QB going into next year however with Mike Tomlin as Head Coach. I'm still amazed that the Steelers didn't give Fields the nod to start the 2nd Half after Wilson put up 44 yards throwing in the first half! That is all the pr00f I need to see that Tomlin is an absolute M0R0N! Fields should be the starting QB in 2025 and Wilson shouldn't even be on the roster!

Arthur Smith is a complete joke of an offensive coordinator......I pray the god the Jets are dumb enough to hire Arthur Smith as their Head Coach! Cmon NY don't let me down....He's your man....please take him off our shoulders! Defensively Teryl Austin will be the scapegoat for Mike Tomlin this season....he will be the guy who gets FIRED! He's not a good DC but this Defense is just as much Mike Tomlin's Defense as it is Teryl Austin....maybe even more so Tomlin. He's had more control over that Defense since Dick LeBeau was released after the 2014 season and it shows. We haven't had a good Defense since LeBeau left.

I don't expect every season to end with a Super Bowl Championship but I have no confidence in Mike Tomlin to win it all as Head Coach! It's just time for change! Tomlin has gotta go!

The Ravens are who we were. They patterned their culture after us and found a way to do it in the modern league. What Henry did to us tonight is what we used to do to people and what they kept preaching they were gonna do this year. They’re physical, they’re tough, and they just inflict their will. We get by on past accomplishments. Herbstreit even asked “where’s the toughness tonight in first half. This is the Pittsburgh Steelers!” This sux but I think we’re stuck in this vortex of cliches, unimaginative offense, and wasting careers of some all timers in Cam and Watt. So F U to everyone in that front office for putting this garbage out there. But hey…… we didn’t have a losing season! The standard is the standard!!!!!
 
Game ball- Zach Fraizer. Finally a Center.

D. Elliiott. best free agent pick up in a while.

Cam- hurt and still out there playing well.

Goats- pretty much everyone else

FU- still say FU to the NFL for the BS schedule
 
They need a serious overhaul top down. I can't even believe anyone could still stick up for this staff. They're ******* awful and don't change ****.

 
I will say one thing that I’m sure will be not too popular. TJ Watt and ,Alex Highsmith basically did nothing during our 5 game losing streak. Another playoff game where they did nothing. I barely noticed them. I am not saying the effort wasn’t there. But these guys are paid top money in the league and have had no results when it mattered. I know there will be the coaching should have moved him around…given him help etc comments. Superstars put the team on their back in the big games. Superstars all get chipped,held,double teamed. We’ve certainly seen TJ and to a lesser extent Alex carry the team in the past. They and that defense were pitiful tonight. Again. I hate to think TJ is on the downward slope.

TJ Watt is getting chipped or double teamed on 80% of Defensive plays! He's wearing down and shame on Teryl Austin & Mike Tomlin for not doing the Obvious.....Moving him around the Defensive line, letting him stunt, etc.....this is something you see other Defensive guys like Myles Garrett and others do all the time......it shows you Tomlin is clueless when it comes to game planning and putting his players in a position to succeed! Tomlin has gotta go!

I thought when we brought Smith in as OC we were going to pattern our offense after what Baltimore showed tonight. Pound the ball and control the clock. I guess we can use our OL deficiencies as a bit of an excuse but it's not even close.

Payton Wilson is a bright spot. He never takes a play off, always around the ball

Minkah, Queen, Pickens can be gone. Don't need guys with bad attitudes or whose play doesn't match their cap hit. Queen was patting Henry on the back as he ran by.

Minkah gave up on an Allen keeper a year ago and Allen ended up taking it to the house. Yesterday he got destroyed. Be gone.

Trade Watt and Highsmith and start building a pro roster starting with lines. The patchwork process doesn't work - at best you get lucky for a year.

70% of the cap allocated to defense. Am I correct here? Sure didn't look like it.

Russell Wilson is still a solid starter

Stack the draft picks and build a damn team for the future

STOP blaming Tomlin! Was he supposed to turn down a multi-million dollar extension? The person that deserves blame is Art, aka Fredo, ROONEY! He said there was urgency. He said he was sick of losing in the playoffs. And then he gave Tomlin a ******* contract extension.

Family businesses often fail when they are handed down to an inept heir. THAT is what has happened to the Steelers.

All true - but when there is no penalty for failure - seats still filled, TV revenue continuing - failure continues. At this point, I blame the fans who accept the failure.
 
Henry was running, Queen pussed out, Henry scored a td. Oh, big tuff MLB. No. He is soft.
 
Tomlin needs to go, and Deuce needs to do it.
But Deuce won’t do it until we give him reason to.
It now falls on us to tell/show Deuce this is unacceptable.
We need to stop feeding the beast.
We need to stop putting money into this disaster of a failure.
No merch. No season tickets. No individual tickets. No helping ad revenue by watching.
I’ve witnessed some rough seasons under Noll and Cowher, but NOTHING even remotely close to this ineptitude.
With Noll and Cowher, we lost because we didn’t have the horses to go toe to toe. But there was fight. There were good game plans. There were adjustments.
We get NONE of that with Tomlin. He is a deer in headlights during games. He draws up a game plan the week leading up and ANY adversity met during the game is met by Tomlin with NOTHING.
He’s gonna keep doing the thing that isn’t working because he won’t admit he planned wrong.
4th and inches at a pivotal point in the game and Tomlin trots the punt unit out…..?
What do you think that does to the confidence of the players/assistant coaches when that vote of no confidence comes from the HC?
I’m all in favor of stability and not hiring coaches every 2 seasons like the Clowns.
But we have witnessed enough to see the message isn’t getting through anymore and Tomlin has lost the room.
I FULLY understand Tomlin isn’t getting fired. I understand Deuce isn’t trading Tomlin. I understand Tomlin is here until he wants to retire.
But I refuse to keep accepting and supporting this abject failure of a head coach with my wallet.
 
Smith appears to suck but it was brought up that he gets his conservative direction directly from Tomlin. No passing in the middle of the field. Run, run, pass, punt. And so on and so on.

Yes and unfortunately many of the people attending the games don’t really care if the Steelers win either, they’re there for the social aspect. A much more casual crowd than it was 30-40 years ago.

MT is a very stubborn man. If Art wants to keep him because of the Rooney Rule and/or another reason, I wish he would tell him to sit down, keep his mouth shut and be a figurehead, and let the coordinators run the show. I'm not convinced Smith is a poor OC when he looks exactly the same as past ones, and that look in-game can only be for one reason.

You don't need to trade all your talent to rebuild this team. You need a coach who can actually maximize the talent they have. I've seen some in the national media say this team overachieved this year. Not a chance. They underachieved. Big time.

The crowds were actually pretty good for the most part this year, at least compared to the past few. A big part of the social aspect is too many season ticket holders sell their tickets so a lot are coming for the experience.

My ex sister-in-law had season tickets. She didn’t even watch the away games on TV.
