I figured it’s time to get this thread going. Post what your favorite game time meals or snacks. There are several meals I use for game day.

Today is going to be Italian sausage and meatball sandwiches. Sausage is Primo Italian sausage from Sam’s club and my meatballs are turkey (request of Mrs. Falco). 85/15 ground turkey with fresh garlic, basil, oregano, mixed in with some shredded Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, salt and pepper and an egg. I don’t measure, just add it all together.
Buns are fresh from my local Shop n Save. A pasta option for the kiddos or anyone who doesn’t want a sammich.

If I go to the sports bar (meet friends) I'll have a spicey baked chicken salad.

Nothin in comparison to your plans Falco as you are doing it PROPERLY.

Salute the nation

Once again in Vancouver it’s been torrential rain warnings for the last few days and going through Monday on the wetcoast. When the sun shines it’s truly gods country. Spectacular. Come on.....sun. Shine. The pug is getting sick and tired of going for walks in the rain. So am I.

Being a 10am game I am going the big breakfast route. Onion, mushroom, spinach, cheddar cheese omelette. 4 farm fresh eggs. Fried russet potatoes, with onions, red peppers mixed. Turkey sausages on the side with a dash of maple syrup on top. My multigrain toast. I love brunch- big breakfast football Sunday!

Went out for dinner last night to this no nonsense Indo-Chinese restaurant. Man. Truly Outstanding. Have to find ways to incorporate that type of cooking into my meals.

I have a steak out for dinner. If they win.......it will be a thought out great meal. If they lose. Honey oat Cheerios with a banana in it.

kids called last minute saying they were in town for a memorial......
so I went out shopping before the game started for some inspiration......

here is the result

butternut squash soup or potato/leek soup

alabama roll tide style shrimp skewers ( I will have one for you BERM ) or wild garlic skewers

currently on the stove simmering ...... turkey chili with peppers, onions, celery, matchstix carrots, zucchini and diced tomato

oven baked --hand stretched rosemary and sea salt breadsticks brushed with herb butter

Well they are still not here yet ....... sorry I ain't waiting ...... I am hungry after reading this thread ......... enjoy boys and hope we celebrate a victory

They turned into enchiladas instead.
