He must have really been pissed at the Steelers to retire a loser.

He only started 66 games for the STEELERS. He started total of 148 games so I guess he had more starts with them than us. Not defending his choice but he has his reasons and I can't judge either way.

I can thank him for his GREAT play while wearing a STEELERS uniform, wish him the best in his "Life's Work", and hope the Browns Elf doesn't come to visit him at night........................................

STEELERNATION.COM has this story on its HOME page.

Pretty good read also

Thanks for the quality starts you gave us, Joe. Godspeed in your life's work after football

Any starter on that 2019 defense should be considered a Steeler for life.

Quick question, not judging but did he have more wins with Steelers or Stains?
I dunno but apparently it is hard to get rid of **** stains. He probably tried Tide, bleach products, etc.

Who gives a **** what team Joe Haden retires with?

The guy played in exactly 2 playoff games in his 12-year career. 2 embarrassing losses to the Jaguars and Chiefs, where the defense gave up at least 5 touchdowns in each game.

What an awesome legacy.

He decided to retire a Brown because he felt that they used him properly.

We ought to thank Joe for his contributions as a Steeler, wish him good luck in his life's work and respect his decision to be remembered among the very greatest CBs for the stains.

While he performed admirably while a Steeler, among the Steelers DBs all-time, he is kinda far down the list.

Considering the question let me put it this way

As a STEELERS player he was a WINNER.

As a browns player he was flushed down. Wasn't he a member of the "0" win season ?

Sourseed is at it again...

Guess our parting was more bitter than their parting.

Wonder if he just felt some loyalty since it was the Browns that drafted him and gave him his opportunity...

Sourseed? How about facts-seed?

Haden was a good player for a few seasons with the Steelers, but they never won a single playoff game over five years with him in Pittsburgh. Should the Steelers throw him a parade, or something?

I don't see this as a big deal. Apparently he felt the slight from the Steelers was bigger than the slight from the Browns. Whatever.

I didn't see a bidding war when he left here, not sure why these guys get so pissed when the team that lets them go turns out to be right. When your playing time is up, it's up. Loved him as a Steeler, wish him the best, and as always **** the browns.
