Hall of Fame Nominees for 2023 ......several Steelers among them

You're pretty fast Paul but also GREAT minds think alike. I was just about to start this thread and thank you for doing so.

JAMES HARRISON, can't argue and hope he makes it all the way through to Canton. Arguably one of the best LBs all time Steelers.

Hines Ward deserves to be in but likely will have to wait another year or two.

Surprise pick

Casey Hampton, we all know his qualities but as a 3/4 NT the stats just aren't there. He changed the way NT was played but outside the organization he was invisible.

I think only Harrison has a legit chance. All pro a couple times, League MVP once, SB hero.
Hines I like a lot but too many receivers with better stats in front of him.
Big Snack one of my favorites but two down lineman who has little chance.
Farrior one of the greatest FA pickups of all time but not enough to get in.
Chad Brown very good here but still not enough to get in.
Gary Anderson was very good but very tough for kickers to get in.

Slacker!

Since longevity no longer matters for the HOF, James Harrison should absolutely make it. Was the best and most feared defender in the NFL for a stretch and had the greatest play in Super Bowl history. Lastly, you cannot tell the story of the NFL during that era without saying the name James Harrison.

When they change the rules to stop your dominance, that alone should give you a bonus multiplier. Ward almost has the stats, add in the multiplier for the rule change, he SHOULD go to the head of the line.

If there were stats for undeserved fines and uncalled OL holding, Deebo would already be in!!
