Happy Birthday Gregory Lenard Lloyd Sr!
My favorite Steeler of all time.Happy Birthday Gregory Lenard Lloyd Sr!
Avoid LloydI forgot Lloyd hurt his knee 1st year in the league. He was drafted in '87 but no stats until '88. I remember watching his preseason game, he hit everything that moved that day. I watched the game in North Carolina, on vacation. I knew Lloyd was special from that day on. He seemed to be in on every tackle. He was one of the guys who made the Steelers special.

I think those dudes from the70s who had that tude include Mean Joe and Lambert. Joe tried to take a screwdriver on the field to stab someone on the field. Who can forget Lambert throwing whatshisname to the ground for getting in Roy's face after a miss? The prototype that was used years later in the creation of Debo. The man took no **** from ANYONE! Up there with many of the 70s players as one of my faves. Happy birthday Mr Lloyd. Now let’s go out there and try to bring this damn thing back here next year along with the ******’ Super Bowl. IYKYK
His presence gives me chills. Now THAT was one hell of a team from top to bottom. My favorite Steeler of all time.
