Happy Birthday 95

Happy Birthday Gregory Lenard Lloyd Sr!

One of many of my mine & favorite player. I have a “95” jersey of his, loved his STEELERS player mentality.

Salute the nation

I forgot Lloyd hurt his knee 1st year in the league. He was drafted in '87 but no stats until '88. I remember watching his preseason game, he hit everything that moved that day. I watched the game in North Carolina, on vacation. I knew Lloyd was special from that day on. He seemed to be in on every tackle. He was one of the guys who made the Steelers special.

The prototype that was used years later in the creation of Debo. The man took no **** from ANYONE! Up there with many of the 70s players as one of my faves. Happy birthday Mr Lloyd. Now let’s go out there and try to bring this damn thing back here next year along with the ******’ Super Bowl 🤣🤣🤣🤣. IYKYK

Did you know Greg Lloyd played without an ACL in one knee? I think I mentioned this to you before. Another rather famous Steeler played without an ACL in one knee…..and a current, soon to be famous Steeler plays without an ACL as well.
Hines Ward,Payton Wilson.

I think those dudes from the70s who had that tude include Mean Joe and Lambert. Joe tried to take a screwdriver on the field to stab someone on the field. Who can forget Lambert throwing whatshisname to the ground for getting in Roy's face after a miss?
