Nearly cut because he was late the first day of minicamp.

issues picking up the defense

finally settles in and studied the defense......the rest is history

I burned his throwback Jersey a few days after he signed with the Cheaters. Time heals all wounds. Love you Deebo!!! thanks for all the incredible memories!!

Whats the old saying about hard work beating talent when talent doesn’t work hard? Dude worked his *** off and became an unstoppable force for several years. Didn’t get respect he deserved because he said how he really felt about GodDell and didn’t kiss his butt. Great post Coolie 🙏

yeah that jackass Bill writes a decent article every now and then

GREAT article BILL AND THANK YOU.

James Harrison will always be one of my alltime favorites.

Tougher than Godell even though the rog tried to break him, both monetarily and mentally.

Harrison had a target on his back and the officiating allowed holding him or there wouldn't be any opposing QBs left to play..

What about that SB TOUCH DOWN JAMES HARRISON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best ******* defensive TD in a long long time by any team yet a SB winning team.!!!

The greatest play in Super Bowl history, in my opinion. I still can't believe he made it all the way into the end zone with zero seconds on the clock.

There has never been a team having a history of badass players as the Steelers.

What happened before this confrontation is not shown.
Don't go for Harrison's knees.
It pisses him off.

Steeler all time badass players IMO. The enforcer types that didn't take **** from anyone.

Jack Lambert, Joe Greene, Mel Blount, Mad Dog Dwight White, Joey Porter, Greg LLoyd, Harrison, Ward...except that unlike the others, Ward did his all his enforcing with a smile.
There was also a CB from back in the late 80's by the name of "Beltin' " Delton Hall who gained that reputation. Other than him earning Rookie of the Year honors, his career was short lived and uneventful.

Come to think of it we have no such player currently on the roster. As a Steeler fan this is troubling!lol

Holy mother of mercy I think I've just figured out our problem !!!!!!!!!
Consider the badass linebackers, first came Lambert, then LLoyd, Porter, Harrison. What was between Lambert and LLoyd?

The mediocre 80's!!!!

Now it's about no losing seasons.

Hines was the Silverback of the offense. I still love to go back and watch how physical he was. If a rule gets changed for the way 1 person plays the game, that person should be 1st ballet HOF

Mike Merriweather was probably the best....3X All Pro. You also had Robin Cole, Bryan Hinkle & David Little. None of them had the fire of Lambert or Lloyd.

Hardy Nickerson was in there somewhere as well. He was short lived but I can't remeber the reasoning for his departure ?

I think he was one of the 1st casualties of free agency Tampa swooped in and gave him a nice contract for the time

Thanks BLITZ. He was a beast but we had him at one time but couldn't keep him with our small market team. I'm amazed at how well Cowher "re-stocked" despite the turn over. He was a pretty good talent evaluator along with exceptional coaching abilities.

I was always in his corner even after he left the Steelers.

Talent would have been sufficient for James when making his boys return those participation trophies they received in school.
I've always admired him for that.
