Canada even after the Faider’s game still sucks. Aside from a few good call he is incapable of calling a good game and on a consistent basis.
Think about this for a minute boys..,. Canada has zero NFL track record….. Zero! He was hired here as a QB Coach for a short time before being elevated to the critical position of OC. That’s it!
Prior to that he had one good season at Pitt as OC, got fired at Maryland and as OC at a very talented SEC school you may have heard of, LSU, was booted in season by then HC Ed Orgeron.
Now let’s move on to the infamous Terrell Austin and his NFL failed tack record.
Fired in Detroit after multiple seasons as DC then in Cincy was so bad they fired him in season as DC, so Tomlin hires him and makes him our DC.
Then the infamous Coach Bubbles our ST coach who should have been let go years ago.
This one gets me…. Frisbane Jackson the receivers coach. So please tell me Hines Ward wouldn’t have been perfect for this position coach to mentor and teach these young guys? I guess he’s not a yes man.
Meyer as the OL coach is a nobody. Did a decent job last year but this year his nobody is showing.
Would it have hurt to place a call to Mike Munchack in the off season to help mentor these younger OLmen and coach up the veterans?
QB coach Sullivan….. come on, try and bring in Mark Whipple in the off season to work with Kenny.
OC should have been Todd Haley with Byron Leftwich as assistant OC.
DC hands down with the talent of this defense should have been coach Brian Flores.
Tomlin totally ****** this up with million dollar player talent and 10 cent coaches because he’s afraid to be challenged and it’s all about him.
Blind Art II can’t see through this to save his life.

Totally been saying near the same thing for years.

It’s sad having great players careers wasted or diminished here. I would think championships matter to TJ and gang, but once that player gets paid, does the championship sight fade as well?

Flores should have been kept but here again, would it have made a difference——rumor has it Dick L. Left due to Tomlin interference.

As for Bubbles, he hasn’t been a very good coach since day one. He looked good this pre-season but here again he had all 90 guys to chose from. Now that he is down to the 53, it’s a little more complicated. Gunner’s toe tap bullshit falls squarely on coaching 85% / 15% on the dip-**** Gunner. There are more instances over the years.

I have also realized we will not change until the HC changes. Fire O’Canada and he just promotes from with in, all coaches are hired in that manor.

Our GREAT Tradition of STEELERS football has deteriorated a lot and will continue if something doesn’t happen. Now if Coach Tomlin happens to go on a terror, then hats off to him, but I don’t see that as being a likelyhood.
