So this makes no sense. First of all in 2017 she tried to poison her husband. How was she still allowed to teach again? Second one child died and she only got 25 years? I thought Chinese law was tough.

It's not the 25 years, you see. It is what is going to happen to her over that period of 25 years that counts.
