Reports say they are finalizing a deal for D’Andre Hopkins

The FO shouldn’t be comfortable in the slightest.Hopkins has a lower body injury that might linger all season long.
If the Steelers make a move by trading a higher pick, it will be a younger, long term solution. Otherwise they probably only trade a low round pick....
They obviously recognize they can upgrade at wr2, but due to the nature of the Offensive scheme, it is not a pressing priority for them... otherwise they would have overbidded on the guys already moving
There are a LOT of wr 2 types going to be available next week. The teams making moves now needed a wr1 type.. someone like the Bucs or Saints will probably target Kupp if he is on the market.. we will end up with a Darius Slayton type at best.. but I have always felt the front office was more comfortable standing pat on the wrs than the fans were... much like at CB in the preseason..
it would not surprise me if we ended up making a move for a backup olineman instead... we have like 4 7th round picks iirc.. and the depth is already a bit depleted
That happens when you beat a media darlingThey beat a bad 2-5 Jets team and national media thinks they are going to the Super Bowl…
We’ve seen this movie before.. if a solid WR is available the Steelers should make a move.
No, we have never seen this movie before different team, different GM…We’ve seen this movie before
With Will Levis!Hopkins has 1 catch in 3 of his 6 games.
Yea, I don't see us making a big reach at this point, it's not like we are only 1 player away from competing for a SB. KC certainly could be.Hopkins has a lower body injury that might linger all season long.
