Hopkins to Chiefs?

Hopkins has a lower body injury that might linger all season long.

If the Steelers make a move by trading a higher pick, it will be a younger, long term solution. Otherwise they probably only trade a low round pick....
They obviously recognize they can upgrade at wr2, but due to the nature of the Offensive scheme, it is not a pressing priority for them... otherwise they would have overbidded on the guys already moving

There are a LOT of wr 2 types going to be available next week. The teams making moves now needed a wr1 type.. someone like the Bucs or Saints will probably target Kupp if he is on the market.. we will end up with a Darius Slayton type at best.. but I have always felt the front office was more comfortable standing pat on the wrs than the fans were... much like at CB in the preseason..
it would not surprise me if we ended up making a move for a backup olineman instead... we have like 4 7th round picks iirc.. and the depth is already a bit depleted

The FO shouldn’t be comfortable in the slightest.

They should be trying to upgrade the roster and a clear deficiency.

It is a passing league they should act like it.

They beat a bad 2-5 Jets team and national media thinks they are going to the Super Bowl…

We’ve seen this movie before.. if a solid WR is available the Steelers should make a move.

We drafted a WR in the third round and he has an ankle and then a hammy in addition to being a moron, apparently. Smith saying that Wilson isn't ready to contribute just yet. I mean, WR is a Rook in the game of chess. Go forward, come back, side to side, sacrificial block once in a while. Hell, the QB calls your route in the huddle. Is Smith and Tomlin showing us fans that they made a huge mistake drafting him?

That happens when you beat a media darling

I agree we need to get a WR, we are an injury away from having Van Jeff from being WR1. Scary thought

Rapoport reporting deal is done and that Titans will pay 1/2 the salary. Chiefs give up a 5th that can go to 4th.

Yea, I don't see us making a big reach at this point, it's not like we are only 1 player away from competing for a SB. KC certainly could be.

You like you some nuts do ya.

Hey what you do in your own time is your business.

One of my favorite receivers but grade 3 MCL tear in preseason - no surgery. I don't know how he's running but he played 44 snaps and had one catch which likely means he can't separate. I don't think he should be playing but it's good for us. He is not going to be right by Christmas if they don't sit him. We'll find out if Reid gets same advice from team doctors. I am not a physician
