Not gonna lie. A few too many Vodka Gatorades on deck. Pretty pumped about football. First day of varsity practice week before I start my JV program up. This is what I think will drive this team to next level. It's about making simpler plays which they really highlighted in pre season
- second and manageable. Keep.in front of sticks
- running back pass game particularly the screen game.
- inside the five being able to bully with run game.
- the 15 yard seam/post timing. If that cooks with the slots TEs look out.
Outside of injury I'm not concerned about defense. They will be as dominant as current rules allow. But if three of the four above happen this team will really contend.

I think the secondary will experience growing pains. You have three new puzzle pieces to go with Levi.

The pass rush and Kazee and Minkah will definitely help but there will be times that those corners will need to be steady as she goes.

On offense execution will need to be the normal and Canada will need to let Kenny trust what he sees and allow to audible when necessary.

I expect lumps in game one which catapults the team into the cohesive direction needed.

Well Slash, are you suggesting growth from Canada? Trusting Kenny to audible doesn’t sound like the crayon offense, unfortunately. If Ben couldn’t audible I just don’t know if Canada will ever allow it…and if that is the case just another in a long line of reasons to send his *** packing.

Literally I’ve drank enough kool aid to believe that the only thing that could hold this roster back is the coaching staff. You’d think those three meaningless games woulda been a good place to practice audibles just for fun…I just don’t get it

I definitely agree with throwing to the RB's. Najee was great at that in his 1st season. Then, for half a season last year Canaduh had almost no dump offs or screens called. In the 2nd half of the season, they started throwing to Najee again and it definitely paid off especially with the throw and catch to win against the Rats. He is a very good receiver out of the backfield and definitely our best. He should get some throws every game with even Warren getting a couple. Get them in space.

It’s no secret that I feel O’Canada is by far the biggest question mark going into this season.

I sent him a box of 6 crayola colors so as to keep it simple for him. AMAZON mixed up and made the mistake by sending a box of 10. Now we have the mad scientist O’Canada trying to fill the empty 4 slots.

Watched Irish Saturday. They have a very experienced Q. It was pitch and catch with slot on 15- 20 skinny post. It can't be a 12 yard comeback by the sideline every other play.

The D will be solid… but this team needs to score more than 17 points a game.. consistently.

They will need to be above 26 to be playoff bound.

They will need to be 30 or above to actually contend.
