I’ve watched the replay of Ryan Shazier and paid close attention to his initial movements after the injury. I also paid close attention to how the training staff was working on him and their gestures while doing so.
When Number 50 went down and the first thing he did after rolling over was call over the training staff using his fingers. The trainers at that time got alongside of him, stabilized his head, and covered his face with their hands along the side of his facemask when talking with him. They seemed very business like and genuinely concerned.
After JuJu knocked Burfict the **** down he laid there waiting for the penalty until JuJu stood over top of him. At that point Vontaze Burfict attempts to wrestle JuJu to the ground and twist his ankle. Very dynamic movement. Once JuJu is removed and the flags land next to that POS he lays there and mimics Shaziers behavior by waving the staff on to the field using his fingers. The Bengals training staff use the same techniques when along side that piece of ****. However, if you watch closely you can see what is clearly a smile and not a grimace on Buttfucks face. The staff seem to be playing along and chatting with him very casually. It seemed very staged.
Now, I’m not sure why he’d pull this stunt, but I wouldn’t put it past him. Plus, he’s so injured he “jumps” of the stretcher once out of camera shot and walks into the locker room. Suspicious behavior for a guy who HAD to be carted off. He wanted the penalty and got it. I think that was all there was to the “injury”.
Now, not only did he get the penalty, his actions have gotten Schuster suspended for one game. The whole thing stinks! The NFL’s reaction also has the air of political correctness and not player safety. If the latter is truly their concern why isn’t Iloka serving out his suspension for the disgusting get on 84? Defenseless receiver!
Makes no sense. Burfict and the Bengals lost the game but win the Oscar for best “I just got embarrassed by a receiver and now need to save face and see if I can milk this for a penalty” performance. Bravo!
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
