Probably futile at looking for Tomlin replacements. But I was digging around anyways. This guy has done wonders with the Eagles O and some interesting San Diego supporting statistics as well. The weakest part of the team is offense where they are one of the worst in the league.

We need a great offensive mind in an offense driven league. Would be a damn good Xmas gift. Besides the normal one we get with either being blown out in the playoff, and or fading down the stretch. To the newest one the first year without a Cowher player results in a failure of a season. This is coming off a decent draft and a significant free agency.

I hope this guy is available when the Steelers do go HC hunting. And even more hoping they attack the search much like they did with their GM search. Get this team back to being significantly competitive please.

What I do know is that for this organization to start trending upward then Rooney must rethink where he is and where he intends to go with this current HC.
Rooney must infuse this organization with a HC with fresh ideas, innovative and more in touch with todays NFL.
Tomlin’s approach is outdated thinking that you build around defense and that offense is somewhat secondary. His approach and defensive philosophies are outdated and have been figured out long ago.
He’s got entirely too much input and control and it’s not working in favor of the Steelers.
The culture has been tarnished, the team never seems to have an identity and with Ben now gone that was our last bit of identity.
We don’t seem to always be prepared nor do we make adjustments.
We’ve had a history under this HC when we did have good teams to generally overlook inferior opponents which when we did make the playoffs cost us home field. Now we’ve become the inferior opponent.
As Wig said yesterday in his post. It’s time!

Now players like Adams and Gentry are saying they want to preserve Tomlin’s non losing streak,
So that’s where we are now, concerned with Tomlin’s non losing streak. Who even cares about that at this point! That’s how broken this organization is right now.

In all seriousness Paul, we both work too much. I’ve been working 7 days a week for quite awhile now until this week. We are having a good O’l _______ __________ (name state). BLIZZARD. Over 12“ snow and currently 56mph winds. I’ve been home bound for 2 days and tomorrow don’t look good either.

TOTAL white out at times. I’ve been plowing with my old tractor to try and keep the 4ft drifts from building to high but what I’ve plowed comes back in about 8-12 hrs, a vicious cycle indeed. I’m not plowing tonight as it’s just to windy out there to do so. COLD as hell too, currently 12 F.

Good thing for possibly watching a TNF game tonight.

I agree. If you have the OC head coach you can have continuity on offense. Then you get yourself a great old DC who doesn't want to HC again.

I am not sure he could as that Bucs offense has been declining. Thinking Arians helped that O be great. I think he is a good coach just not sure he would be a great coach. I'd take more stock in San Fran or Philly's coordinator. Even Dallas's OC might be worth a look too.

After watching Tampa's offense against the Steelers, I am 100% with Slash. The 2020 Buccaneers benefited mightily from Arians it seems. The more recent pathetic display of 5-yard completions on 3rd and 8 against the Steelers made me wonder if CanaDUH had snuck into Tampa's booth.
