Who is your pick?
Mine Michael Mayer TE Notre Dame. I know they are not taking him nor should they, but I think he will be an excellent pro with a very high floor. Great inline blocker, good hands and just enough wiggle.

are you saying if we had pro bowlers at every position and pick the truly BPA? Mayer would be on the short list. so would Torrence.

I guess more like Mayer will be in the vicinity of 1.17 and if not for Muth I could not see them run up fast enough to take him. I think he will be winner. But because of Muth they will not and I'm ok with that.

got it. I think he will be the best player available at 17. but you are correct we have bigger needs.
 
Since the NFLost has outlawed Defense, I go with the best Offensive player available. That TE Musgrave is going to blow it up.

You know what would be interesting. Trade back with Dallas they leap frog Detroit and they take Mayer, Steelers pick up their 27 and 2nd and have four in the top 60. You could really stock the cupboard with four and you need trenches. I don't know value boards so maybe it's more than their second but I doubt it and wouldn't move for less.
* thought Dallas didn't have a decent TE but appears they have a 500 plus guy. They may not be in market but you get point.

Malik Knowles, 6-3 200 WR who averaged 33 yards per return and over 660yards. Steelers haven't had a solid return man since AB. And with that size at WR....Bye Bye Gunner

Omar said everything is on the table in regards to trades.

Also said that Andy is setting the board and Omar/Rooney/ and Tomlin will make the selection.

Don’t you think they should release the board as an exclusive to Steeler Nation 5 minutes before each selection so we could tell them what the hell to do? 😁😁

Well of course. We could have a vote if all things are created equal say on 1 to 3 prospects. We could ask them the ratio of 40 times compared to head circumference. As we need to make a proper evaluation.

Is as unsettling as it ever was

Got a feeling Weidl won’t be here too long if he doesn’t have input beyond setting the board, at least he’s here for our draft with the most collateral we’ve had in years…don’t screw this one up guys!

Seems like we have a few options on the roster and should be safe to BYE BYE Gunner either way new prospect or not
