Make this happen Mr. Khan!!!
I agree. We have the cap space to extend him. Throw him the $$$. We has the QB to throw to him. We have the highest paid D. Tomlin is reportedly going to change up both sides of the ball....or maybe that was jist a dream I had ....anyways. We are in a win now mode. Bring this guy in and make him happy. Which will make A A Rod ....happy.
Make this happen Mr. Khan!!!
Absolutely...Would you include Roman in the deal? He looked good today.
The Commanders don't need a franchise QB...The 26 draft is all about getting a franchise QB. I can't see Wash taking anything less than a 1st rounder. I can't see giving that up.
Wash is crazy to trade him. Just pay him. They're still developing Jayden Daniels. Without McLauren,, their starting WRs are Noah Brown, Michael Gallop, and Deebo Samuel who looks fat and slow now.
He’s been one of my favorites for years Dino. I guess the big question is….how much could we sign him for. I’m sure he wants 28+ million.I believe he’s the best receiver in the league..IMHO
DK and Terry!
Sounds like a podcast lol
Call it what you like but someone's in the kitchen cooking up that SB soup!!!Why are we all in? We haven't mortaged our future with long term guaranteed contracts. We have 12 draft picks next year.
If I was to pitt their greatest need vs the Steelers?what does Washington need?
How about a 5th next year and a 3rd in 2027,The two have virtually identical stats, except Metcalf has proven to be slightly better in terms of YPR and TDs. McLaurin is also two years older. We gave up a 2nd and then a monster contract. That would be the max I'd give up for McLaurin, but I would lean toward a 3rd because of his age. He would likely get an identical contract to Metcalf.
I think it's all a negotiation tactic and McLaurin will lock up a long-term deal in Washington.

The Commanders don't need a franchise QB...
Agreed. We really can’t afford to even give up a 2nd round pick for him-we’re probably going to need all the capital possible to move up into the top 10 to get a QB in the 2026 draft with a strong chance to be franchise level-they can’t mess this up and settleThe 26 draft is all about getting a franchise QB. Good call on the Khan late-round swap. That is more in line in terms of value, but Washington really needs to get a deal done now because they need McLaurin there to pair with Daniels. How about a 5th next year and a 3rd in 2027,
Steelers get McLaurin and a 2027 6th?
Personally, I'd rather put CA3 on the trade over Roman but that's me...They do need someone for him to throw to though.
What we should be willing to compensate them with should NOT match what they’ll seek.
Of a 3rd gets it done; sure…maybe pursue it, maybe
But JD needs someone to throw to as they are actually in the mix in the NFC with the contention window open.
I’d guess this is all just posturing to get that big contract from the Commandos
Let's discuss this - again.Agreed. We really can’t afford to even give up a 2nd round pick for him-we’re probably going to need all the capital possible to move up into the top 10 to get a QB in the 2026 draft with a strong chance to be franchise level-they can’t mess this up and settle
McLauren will be 30 when our newly drafted QB will be a rookie, their prime years won’t match up
Let’s not forget many of Rodgers metics the past 2 healthy seasons have been bad, there’s a real chance he’s a below average QB this year.
Khan has built this years team without mortgaging the future, best to stick with that plan
