If you could see one significant improvement from last year what would it be??

It would be scoring in the 1st quarter for me. The Steelers finished fourth from the bottom in this category....only the Rams (surprisingly), Giants and Bears were worse. I think there were tons of offensive line issues with all those teams, but something could be said about the predictability of the offense being run by the Steelers. It was AS first year, but I really didn't see him as much of an upgrade over MC.

It's hard to tell for sure what was the biggest issue that led to such a slow start each game whether it be gameplan,OL, predictability, lack of motion i just know it helps to settle a defense for certain when you get off to a good start. As true as the statement is that it's not how you start it's how you finish I wouldn't mind seeing a glaring eyesore like this get fixed.

You’re an agenda based troll that supports Tomlin for reasons that have nothing to do with the Steelers success. You strongly imply horrible things about the 95% of us here who want a head coaching change. Heck you even attack the posters here who still support Tomlin because that’s what trolls do, no one has forgotten it. Anyone who doesn’t remember just has to click your posting history, unless you wuss out and erase it…

Don’t come here and pretend to be a serious poster.

My guess is when Tomlin is gone, you will be too

think we have a better chance to win a playoff game if we score more points than our opponent. so that is what will say.

score more points than the other team.

I'm all for this new concept and it really doesn't matter what quarter we score them in or if we spread them around a little.

Salute the nation

I am not committing that it will work 100% of the time. But.... statistically speaking, it should work 100% of thebtime. So let's do that.

This is a really good one and would also indicate a shift of offensive philosophy.

coaching accountability for lack of results:
Tomlin: playoff wins, failure of coordinators
Smith: 1st Q points and ToP
Austin: # of 3 & outs + TOs, top 10 rush D

Not really. A failed offensive scheme and philosophy.

I imagine we will open the offense up wide open at times this year. Maybe to try to get the lead early and then lean heavily on our top 5 defense to shut down the opposing teams offense. Should be an exciting season coming up. Tomlin has built this team for a run at a SB.

Can't WAIT!!!!!

I still think we need a #2 WR. Sorry folks but CAIII is not a #2 WR and they really dont have anybody really close. I guess we'll have to see what R. Wilson does, but this is going to be a real issue and I think it's going to be a real issue early.

Im assuming the TEs could take up the slack of not having #2 at WR ala Kelce, Bowers, etc. Hopefully they can be a second coming of Gronk and Hernandez but AS didn't show a whole lot of creativity imo last season. Hopefully he's been studying the Patriots playbook.
