Im gonna be honest

So...who would you have signed at WR2???

DK + George will be a problem for EVERY DC in the league...
And a bigger problem for their positional coach and OC. I'd have used a pick in the first round maybe on a slightly little less talent (though neither of these guys can run more then 3 routes) but a hell of a lot more character. The kid from Ohio St. For one. And who the **** is gonna throw them the ball? Russ old man Rodgers. C'mon.

Hate to bust your bubble, but there is a pretty good chance DK was brought in and paid to replace George, not to be paired with him.

I almost expect George to be traded before or during the draft.

And the bigger thing I would do is stop trying to cobel together some bullshit feux playoff contender with these moves that keep blowing up in their face. Draft well. Conserve cap room. Then when the right people are in place strike. Big. This is garbage ****. You cannot be the 12th best team in the NFL every year. That is doing nothing

Draft someone in round one. I would rather give Pickens the payday than bring Metcalf in. Read a write up on Metcalf about him dropping easy balls every game. Or getting penalties called against him. Just my take. Our offensive scheme sucks anyway. Metcalf isn't changing that.

DK is a WR1. That is why this points to the Steelers moving on from GP or it at least makes it easier to do. They needed a WR2 and went for a 2nd WR1. I would not be surprised if GP demands a trade. If he does, the Steelers will get even less in a trade as teams will know the Steelers will just cut him. So, they may opt to avoid that situation and trade him especially if they can get a 2nd or even a 3rd. I sure would like to see them on the field at the same time though. I just hope it's not with Rodgers throwing the rock.

Volunteers....not hostages.

Yeah, it's tempting to have both of them for a season, regardless of the QB, but the more I think about it, the less I think it's in the cards.

Signing DK pretty much means George isn't resigning, and they'll probably want to get back a high draft pick after using one for DK.

Keeping both of them is also a recipe for disaster given the volatile personalities involved. Having to deal with both George and DJ was apparently too much for them. I cannot imagine them having a higher tolerance for DK and George.

Does anyone really believe Seattle moved on from DK Rodman because he was super awesome chemistry. Like grow the **** up. He was bitching for a trade but the Steelers are not more of a contender and it aint warm. They bought him like the Stains bought Garrett. Seattle had DK and a very talented kid from Ohio State. They just broke that up for ***** and gigs....come on.

What could go wrong. Let's add Rogers and his maturity to the mix. We all get along like smurfs at a dance party.

I'd trade him if they can sign Kupp if he's released on Wednesday. Otherwise, I wait to see if Golden or Egbuka fall in the draft and if they do, take a WR in the first and trade Pickens on draft day. If they don't, maybe they'll give him the Tee Higgins treatment and franchise him a couple of times.

You gon learn today...

I would let GP play this year and then tag his azz in 26 & maybe 27 too. Now if you get an offer you can't refuse that is a horse of a different color. I wouldn't trade GP unless it was for a pick in the 30-45 range. They can keep him for 3 years, see what he does, he will mature a bit in those 3 years.

No one is giving a high 2 low one for George Pickens. Like C'mon. He's a 3rd or a 4th. Why does everyone think the Steelers trash is gold?

The idea is to sign vets who won't make mistakes and don't need to be developed to keep that precious non-losing seasons streak alive.
Just get to 9 wins, baby.

Point I made in another thread. The end of last season was a slow mo car wreck. You could see it coming 8 miles away. In fact I skipped the playoff game cause I didn't want to watch the disaster. So now it looks like they don't really want to commit to Russ which I don't think they should and Warren is tendered at almost the same level as they would have optioned Harris at. How bout when the tails pin happened you gave Warren 20 carries a game and you put Fields in. Then maybe you'd have known.
