Thats a common punishment that usually happens with minor offenses… one to many pad practices or something of that nature… though that franchise was probably bugging locker rooms or bribing officials or something and just got a slap on the wrist

Here is the clicker, they haven’t released what infractions were done either. Plus Belichick opted to note it was a “cancelled“ OTA of his choosing. Most likely it was a media rep notifying the league office of the infraction in observance. Want to guess the media member was a NYJ writer?

The infraction was virtually nothing… they posted a voluntary meeting for special teams on a message board and the players association determined that because of that it could be misconstrued as mandatory…. Bullshit lazy player ****
