Damn the first half was over quick

nice pic early

****** play calling on 3rd downs

Solid drive to end the 1st half and get some points on the board

not sure what I watched in the 3rd quarter??

defense making sacks on 3rd down....offense running the ball well and Aaron with some nice passes

pretty sure that was not the real Steelers

4 straight TD drives???? is that **** legal??

when is the last time the Steelers gave up two 4th quarter TD drives and it just didn't matter cause they won by double digits anyway?

Gainwell was huge tonight hell he outrushed the dolphins tonight.....DK with a good game Muth with some KEY plays MVS with a TD....

Defense held the rushing game down...hell the Steelers out rushed a team tonight....both Heywards with big plays tonight

not getting my hopes up..it is jusst the dolphins....and we have all seen this show before

still a big win on Monday night....

I can't believe people are whining about meaningless points in the 4th quarter. The game was over. It was a good W to keep pace. Now, on to Detroit.

**** that soft ****. Give them nothing. You know what being soft all of the time gets you?

Your *** stomped in round one.

The defense they played at the end looks like the defense they play most of the time, and it's ****.

Solid W, solid rush D without TJ, decent pass rush without TJ.....
3 passes thru the middle of the field completed, bringing the total to 4 for the season!
No one will see it coming!
Complements to the D and the O, especially the O for the halftime adjustments!!
special props to Dylan Cook! Awesome first game

We saw 4 wide tonight without any of the 4 being a TE! That's a first for the season....I think

Kenneth Gainwell is a great Free Agent pickup

Dylan Cook can play! Broderick Jones might not be needed much longer. Lets see how he does vs Myles Garrett in 2 weeks!

Aaron Rogers looked 10 years younger tonight!

Patrick Queen stepped up

This was the best team performance all season! It only took 14 weeks!

Maybe we are peaking at the right time!

Mike Tomlin hasn't lost the team!

Good game for us Coolie. It was nice to see Dylan Cook,Patrick Queen, and Gainwell all have good games. Gainwell has got to be my surprising unsung player of the team. Using the TE’s for a change made a difference. Aaron smiling having fun bodes well for us. It was nice to see us play well in a feature game. We’ve been embarrassed a few times lately.

That being said,I’d bet that 90+ percent of us had this down for a victory looking at the schedule from day one. Miami looked terrible. Momentum is a big thing in the NFL. Let’s not **** this up by having an embarrassing **** game in Detroit.

Initial thought: Only a win or tie against the Browns to clinch another non-losing season!

Other thoughts:
1) Aaron Rodgers is good in cold weather. Tua is bad in cold weather. Not hard to figure out.
2) $41 million a year on TJ Watt, and they didn't miss him at all tonight. Very different from past years.
3) Broderick Jones is seriously approaching bust territory, as Dylan Cook, a perennial practice squad player, stepped in tonight and played better than Jones has all season.
4) Nice debut for Asante Samuel Jr. Probably not a great idea to have him try and cover a tight end in the end zone who is eight inches taller than he is, though.
5) How many points is Detroit going to score on this defense in a dome next week? 38+ is my guess.

The problem was had they recovered that onside kick, they had all three timeouts... one quick score and they could have stopped the clock and gotten the ball back for a miracle win...

Going too conservative too early can lose big leads in this NFL... you have to keep tge heat on until very late in the game

1. If the Steelers make the playoffs and dont target Washington like 5 times a game at a minimum, they are idiots

2. Seamalu is by far our best Olineman and I hope he isnt out long

3. Ditto Herbig... he may be our best OLB now

4. Dylan Cook is why you dont quit on developmental guys after a couple years
-undrafted in 22, spent the year on Tampas PS
-spent 23 on our active roster to keep Tampa away
-spent 24 on our roster or PS
-spent most of this season on the PS
From day one everyone said he had starting capabilities and needed time to develop.. he looked serviceable out there... (for the record he is a year older than Jones)

5. Massive props to the staff for adjusting to the Dolphins run game and also not trying to sit on a small lead

6. DK tossing Mincah aside was glorious...

7. One more win to the tomlinship

8. Aaron Rodgers is an assassin in freezing temps... thanks to garbage time stats, tua had more yards... but you could see that he struggles in cold temps when the pressure was on. Rodgers was thriving all game long

Miami quit, flat out quit, why the hell were they not going no huddle hurry up? Tua sucks, zero game awareness.
I agree, wholeheartedly.
I have never seen a team in any level of football. Take the air out of the football needing three scores to win a game in the last quarter.
It was baffling and to be quite honest with you a little concerning in regards to the Integrity of the game.
No one on Miami had any sense of urgency from the ball boy to the head coach in the last quarter.
Very happy we won and we showed a lot of improvement from how we’ve been playing, but this is a head scratcher.

All 5 Dolphins offensive linemen were wearing long sleeves. The game was over before it started.

A real fun second half. It’s been awhile since the Steelers dominated a team.

Ramsey and Smith both made a big play against their former team.

Rodgers threaded the needle to DK. So good. The stiff arm to Minkah was a highlight play for the season.

The Dolphins time management in the fourth was certainly a choice.

I hope this is it for alternative uniforms for the rest of the season.

Playing not to lose is a staple of our HC, fortunately Aaaa-Ron covered that wart.

Salute the nation

They did magically have two easy td drives to make it look good.

My thoughts are if Rodgers looks like that the rest of the year they might actually win a.......Nope not saying it......

He looked great. The offense looked great. Gainwell looked great. They actually threw some balls to the TE. They even ran the TE. That play when Smith scored the TD was great. Had some protection problems but it could have been worse.

The D stopped the run. The Dolphin's had -20 yards at one point in the 3rd quarter lol. Heyward stepped up. Queen looked great.

Just keep it up.

"Where are the haters???"
I'll step up, Berm. You know I don't want him as coach here, even though last night was a huge win. One game (this one) does not cancel out the many hard to understand things he did and does. Great game, and I give him credit, but I still want the end of this leadership to come soon.

I love every win. I also want to see a playoff win. Anything less and my stance will not change at all.

I agree. I'm just a bit further down the "fire him" road than most. He could win the SB this year and I still want him gone. Sorry. It's where I'm honestly at.
