Statistically speaking it seems so but curious to see what everyone thinks about Ben's 2014 season when compared to all the others. Tough call....he has been pretty damn good for a long time but I would have to say it has been his best ever. It sure as hell helps with the league's current rules and Brown and Bell on the roster...lol.

One of his best seasons statistically, but you are how you play in the playoffs..............we'll see.

Id say statistics wise this is his best by far.....that one stretch where he ripped thru opponents was nothing short of amazing. .....his style of quarterbacking is unique...he holds it too long, but ill live with it because he can usually produce a big play out of holding it. He hates an incompletion though.....wont throw it away to save his life...or sack yards/field position.

But hes tearing up passing records

Ben is playing good. We'll have a shot at 7 as long as #7 is under center

I have to look at the 08-09 season as his best, not statistically, but they had a defense and Ben and won a SB. They had the most God awful line in the history of SB winning teams. He got sacked like seven times in successive weeks against the Giants and Eagles. He stood in there big time and he was great in the playoffs.

think he's playing about as well as he did during the 2005 playoffs. He just killed it until he got to the Superbowl.

I'm with those who want to see what he does in January first.

If he can attach a good postseason to this great regular season production, it will be in the conversation for his best.

You have to define "best." Some say success is only how far you go, and if he doesn't win a ring, you can't say it was a better season than 05 and 08. If you are going on pure stats, it's his best, by far. I mean, two consecutive games with 6 TDs in each game? That alone is just PIMPED out. And if you are just basing on "the eye test" (ss Skip Bayless would say) it is also his best season; he has had fewer bone head plays and many more awesome ones. I think this season maybe solidified his Hall of Fame inclusion.

You can have all the stats you want, they are for the fantasy leagues, trophies are for winners. Ben gets no credit for his play, getting another trophy they can't take that away from his career.

His rookie season seemed so much more diciplined............. Stats count, just not the whole score card.

Salute the nation

Didn't we have the hardest schedule that season?

This year and last year are probably his best stat-wise. This reflects the o-line keeping him relatively clean for 2 years now.

He's no Peyton Manning. That guy is elite.

I don't know game by game, but I know they played the NFC East which was the toughest division at the time. They beat the Pats Sans Brady. The Ravens three times (who were pretty good)

Only if we win the SB

You have to weigh wins vs stats. What he's doing this season is nothing short of remarkable. Who wouldn't have it as his best season? He has a shot at 5000 yards and the league lead in passing? Not Brady, Not Manning, not Rogers, and he'd be beating out Luck and Brees to do it. When you win the passing lead, it puts you in elite status because it can't be ignored.

Win wise, he was a factor in a couple of our losses (as well as our piss poor defensive execution and penalties), but he shoulders the responsibility of those losses, and he'd be the first to tell you. He cares more for winning than stats. People remember Lombardis, not falling a drive short of one. I think he'd be happy to lose the passing yardage lead on the season as long as he wins this Sunday Night.

I will add that this offense is special, and something none of us has ever experienced. I'm enjoying it and look forward to the playoffs. Keep improving D, and we'll have a run!
