Really like this kid. The night he was drafted, one of my cousins just hated the pick. He kept texted **** all night about it, we went back and forth but he just got crazier.

The kid can block, has great hands and body control. I think he could end up as one of the best ever if the Steelers would use him correctly

A complete TE, not a big size WR that won't help the blocking side of the game

Short answer is no. Trying to compare a HOFer and maybe the best TE in the league to Pat at this point is dumb. Kelce has had 6 1000 yrd seasons in a row and close to 100 catches the last 4 years. Pat is a very good player with potential, but with a new QB and a who knows what oline I don't see him getting anywhere near Kelce's stats yet

I definately hope he can be but seriously need to see his potential play out.

I'm not one for "pre-mature" crowning.

Could we become a more TE user offense is anybodies guess because we don't have an offensive identity as of yet unless you count the 1.7 second release an identity.

I don't know if by this you mean to say that Kelce is a poor blocker, because he's not. He's very good in run blocking, especially.

I mean Smuuuth is atrue TE, like Kelce, not like the new generation of TEs that are big WRs only

One plays with a former mvp and SB champion among highest paid in the league. Other plays with a cast-off 1st rounder or a rookie. So short answer not a chance.

Judging by who he plays for, he is... He's already caught more Steeler touchdowns than Kelce... He's thrown more blocks leading to Steelers game-winning scores.... Kelce plays for KC, that's a mark against him...

Kelce plays for KC, though.... so he sucks as a Steeler... He's NOT a HoFer, any more than Ben is... If Pete Rose has taught us anything, it's that you can be the best at what you do, but there are things that'll keep people from voting you into the HoF...

Ben is a no doubt Hall of Famer

Too bad it's defined differently for you than me... A tool is something you use to help you accomplish something; like, I don't know, getting into the Hall of Fame, early... What are you accusing me of helping people do?? Follow the rules?? Boy, I have some NERVE!!
an alternate definition of tool is a "stupid, irritating, contemptible person

so it is very fitting description of you

you are not here to make sure people follow any rules

you should be here to either inform or amuse the masses

instead you choose to be a tool and annoy them

Why stop with the best in the AFC?
Go with the best in the NFL.

You're absolutely right. I am not here to make people do anything... That's why I didn't say that, did I?? I said I'm helping people.... I'm a helper... Maybe you're into MAKING people do stuff... but I realize that I can only encourage people to follow the rules...
BTW... I looked and looked, but could not find that word defined that way; so it's not a very common definition... Maybe alternate lifestyles define words alternately....
