#1 only report facts
#2 confirm all reports before publication, even if it means being the last to report stuff
#3 patently reject all efforts to spin news to a narrative... to the point of calling out spin when evident
#4 badgeringly pursue the truth, regardless of whom it offends or displeases
#5 never insert opinions... let the fake news do that...
#6 always get every side of the story on record
#7 never sit on a story for anyone for any reason

Then they would be accused of being too far right.

The amount of corruption and wrongdoing is so heavily tiled toward democrats engaging in it.

The current mainstream media journalists consists of college indoctrinated democrats of whom 96% vote democrat.
How do you get around that?

FOX tried with their "fair and balanced" selling point, but "fair and balanced" is a misnomer.

The point is not to be "fair and balanced", the point is to report truth, and if the left are the ones engaging in most of the hanky panky then so be it.

Sounds like a plan, but key would be independant financial backing. It would have to steer clear of both the Soros and Murdoch type financing to remain truly unbiased, as well as big business, slush funds, lobby groups, etc. So how do you finance a completely independant news organization?

#8 no anonymous sources.. period... no matter how juicy the story... on record or **** off
Agreed, and by default, that would obviously include all political groups, both right and left. News maybe pretty scarce at that stage. Maybe have lot's of weather updates.

One America News is closest to this out there. Most of it is like HLN...just reporting the events. Not a bunch of talking heads with opinions.

It's not 100% that way but it is close.

I was about to suggest the same thing. And the anchor is hot too.

That would be boring as ****. Too many people on both sides would be unhappy that they weren't telling them what they want to hear.

I've been watching OAN once in a while lately since Fox has gone to hell.

Yes, the trouble is 80-90% of the people who want to be journalists are indoctrinated by liberal politics as professors and mentors. And the media companies who do the hiring process make sure to pick the people that display their political views.

Having said that, I'd watch it if such a format came around.

truth.

journalists are "coach"-ed to insert their opinion and write their slant.
instead of just reporting the facts and letting people decide on their own what to think

At this point i'd settle for a non-political sports network. ESPN has now gone from subtle left leanings to an aggressive in your face, **** you if you don't like it, liberal propaganda machine that occasionally talks sports.

Once nore... im tired if having to choose between left and right propaganda national news and fluff piece regurgitated local news

That's why it was an easy transition for Oberman from Sportscaster to Liberal Hate Monger.
