But at what cost ? Anyone got an idea how many picks or what picks they are gonna throw away to get him ?
 
Moving up to get any QB in this draft is beyond stupid. It just doesn't make sense right now. Use your picks and cap space now and then move up next year or the year after to get a much better prospect. Why even sign Trubisky if they are going to do something dumb like this. Hopefully, it is just more clickbait.
 
No need to panic and move up for a QB. We still have needs in the secondary, DL, MLB, WR. While I wouldn't go WR at 1.20, the rest of those positions are viable possibilities instead of guessing on a QB.

Agreed. I still think our top 2 picks should be DL and OL. Both need to become strengths of the team and everything else falls into place. After this year Tuitt (if he even plays this year) should be gone as well as Alualu unless they sign him to a 1-year deal and he is in his mid-30's already. Heyward has maybe 2 or 3 years left. So, we have no top guys (draft picks or free agents) to fill in behind them. We are relying on guys who gave up over 200 yards rushing multiple times last year. Now, they looked good at times and can improve but right now, they are all just backups filling in and top prospects.
 
why wouldnt we move up to get Evan Neal?

Why not WR??? There are 3 blue chip WR in the top 50 players...
 
The Bengals drafted Jamar Chase with their first round pick last year when most thought they needed to invest in their OL. Worked out pretty damn well for them. Chase is a beast and turned out to be a great pick.
 
I don't think that their signings mean anything is off the table. It just gives them flexibility. Maybe they don't HAVE to take OL now, but I would still argue that if there is one there they really like, their signings won't stop them from taking him. I just like what they are doing so they aren't locked into one thing.

Just me or does it see like there is 10x the fake news about the Steelers this offseason and then they quietly make a kive that few if any talked about.

There is. For the first time in who knows how long they are interesting in the offseason, with Ben retiring.
 
These steeler QB rumors are getting ridiculous. People just throwing stuff at the wall eventually someone will be right. We were "the front runners" for Rodgers, Wilson, Jimmy G., Watson, and any other QB that might remotely be looking for a trade. Everyday you would see "the Steelers are the favorites for ________________" I sure hope we dont waste draft capital to move up. We need to fix the lines and fill in some holes. Next year if we have a solid oppurtunity then i would consider moving up.
