Ja'Marr Chase "I didn't spit on nobody"

Cincinnati has the worst fans in the NFL. A taste of success and they act like the most confident fanbase in the league and the internet persona matches the in-person attitudes at the stadium. Completely obnoxious and out of touch with reality that can only be matched by college fans.
I dunno I think the clowns fans have them beat. At least the ones that linger on twitter. They could lose twenty games in a row and still talk about either their one playoff win, their before Father Time gifted non equivalent to SB- championships, or how much better Garrett is better than TJ. The offseason is Steelers this or Steelers that pretty much every day. 😅

I think bungle fans have some legitimate competition…

No.. i have been to both cities a bunch of times... the Bengals fans are infinitely more ****** up... its not close... like baltimore and Browns fans are fun to argue with. Cinci just wants to fight you and threaten you..

Ravens fans hate us as the top rivals in the division
Browns fans hate us as historical rivals in the division
Bengals fans blame is for their statuses as "never were's"... there is something just off about a lot of that fanbase

Yeah they sound like Philly fans with the fight issues. I get it, I can give nod there. But the offseason jump on twitter and search Steelers and you will see an elite level of idiot.

😅

The thing is that all three teams have us on their minds,……. That in itself is the biggest compliment.

I hear yaz on all three of those fan-bases with Ravens fans being the3 most respectful of the three.

The other two team’s fan bases seem to play 2 super bowls per season, 1-home & 1-away……….

Our mediocrity is about the only thing that has slowed us down, and I hope like hellA, we get a new handle
on that very soon !!!!!

Browns fans are idiots online, but relatively chill in person. Bengals fans that have been in Pittsburgh for games are complete clowns.

Cincinnati is basically kentucky people that root for Ohio State... its right on the border there.
I used to do a ton of jobs right past the border... so I've had quite a bit of contact there, plus I've gone to games there.., Ive seen the escaloser with my own two eyes🤣

In general
-New England fans are the most obnoxious and snobish
-Philly fans are the most Boorish, (though i admit to not having gone to any NY/NJ teams games, just interacting online with them. So in person they may be worse, but i doubt it)
-Cleveland fans are the 2nd most delusional and stuck in the past.. ( behind the Cowboys... maybe tied with em.. its close) but i mean how you follow that franchise without severe mental issues is a mystery to me
-Cinci is the most deranged... they blame Steelers for a myriad of conspiracy theory type offenses and think we are the reason their team is perpetually Losers... like seriously, two of their big messageboards used to ban steelers fans on sight without any offense but being a Steelers fan.

They have a massive complex over the Steelers. They are the modern day Raiders in a lot of ways

You snuck them in in your closing statement cuz you cannot leave da Raiders of the list AND I would probably add Seattle fans too...

What it boils down to is that the Steelers are the #1 most hated by each…by both fans and players.
Beating the Steelers is a must. Having this bullseye on our backs is like having an extra hurdle to overcome.

Funny about arguing with Browns is because what do they possibly have for ammunition?
All have is their tired worn out smack talk….resorting to Turkey Jones planting Bradshaw in 1976, or the 51-0 rout in 1989.
Don’t hear much about the NFL championships anymore maybe because most of those who actually witnessed that era are dead.

Then our loss to Baker Mayfield in the playoffs. After owning the clowns his entire career, I have only one person to blame for that and it ain’t Tomlin.

I have been to many Steelers games in Baltimore. Zero issues. The fans give you **** but not in a bad way.

Have almost been in 2 fights in my adult life. Both in Cincinnati, 1 during a game and 1 after a game in a bar.
I can't lump all fans together but in my experience, Bengal fans are ****. Especially after a loss.

I agree. Bengal fans and Colts fans have a major inferiority complex. And the worst place I’ve ever been treated was Kansas City. The nicest was actually Cleveland. They respect their Daddy.

didnt this mf say he "didnt spit on nobody"?

nerd @tapeANaspirin2it was correct in his english diagnosis

CINCINNATI -- Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase apologized Monday for spitting on Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey.

In a statement released on Instagram, Chase said he took "full responsibilities" for his actions in the team's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Nov. 16. Chase was suspended without pay for one game after the NFL concluded that he spit on Ramsey during a heated exchange in the Week 12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The incident was not seen by officials during the game but was cited by Ramsey as the cause for the punches and altercation which led to his ejection.

"What I did was wrong," Chase said in the statement. "The circumstances don't matter. My passion for the game is no excuse. There's zero place in our sport -- or in life -- for that level of disrespect."

Chase did not specifically mention Ramsey by name but did reference the Steelers as a franchise.

"I want to personally apologize to everyone within the Pittsburgh Steelers organization," Chase said. "I let my emotions in the moment get the better of me. I can only hope and trust you know none of it represents who I am -- not as a competitor, teammate, or person."

The league upheld Chase's suspension after hearing an appeal he submitted early last week.

Chase and Ramsey were previously flagged in the game for offsetting unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Both of them were warned by head referee Bill Vinovich following the scuffle between the players that preceded the second altercation.

Ramsey was fined $14,191 for his role in the incident. He was tossed after he threw a punch in retaliation for being spit upon. Chase lost more than $500,000 in wages by not playing in the team's 26-20 loss to the New England Patriots.

Chase, a four-time Pro Bowler and a reigning first-team All-Pro selection, has not spoken to the media since video captured by Cincinnati's WXIX-TV showed Chase spitting on Ramsey.

After the game, Chase denied the action and said he never "opened [his] mouth to that guy." Chase declined to speak to reporters during media availability the day following the game.

While he didn't address it directly, Chase appeared to address those remarks in his statement.

"I do not take my position as a role model lightly," Chase said. "As someone who strives to lead with character and authenticity, I should have taken immediate accountability for what happened."

Since 2021, when Chase entered the league, he has four accepted penalties that have been penalized as unsportsmanlike conduct or taunting, according to ESPN Research. That ranks third in the league during that span. Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens are each tied with five.

On Monday, Chase was back inside the Bengals' facilities after serving his suspension. He is set to speak to reporters Tuesday, which will be the first time he will be questioned about the incident.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor said he saw Chase briefly Monday as the team prepares for Thursday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

"We're moving full speed ahead," Taylor said.
