Give them a second and a tiny sweetener 4th to outbid others. Two years left to see what he is. It's as good a deal as you can possibly get this off season. Make it so.

Give them a 5th or 6th and then maybe I'd consider it. We absolutely need our top 3 picks this year and next year.

What has he proven ? A 4th at most

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

Watched Love in the start vs. Kansas City. He was awful. Terrible. Inaccurate, scared, and put up most of his stats in one late drive in the 4th quarter when the game was basically already out of reach. He stunk with Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, and Aaron Jones in the skill positions and a pretty good offensive line that gave him time.

Explore may if for a 4th or 5th rounder. Otherwise, his rookie contract is gong to expire without him ever seeing the field. He now has little value to Green Bay, they can pick up anyone to sit #2 on the roster.

He was never an accurate passer in college and actually dipped statistically in his last year. He wasn't accurate last year for GB.

If we want an inaccurate QB we can just stick with Rudy.

Helllll naw

No need to waste picks filling up the QB room with slappys

I do like the bit of Dr. Evil in the thread title:

You guys can define a guy in 6 games. Why do you not have FO jobs.
Lol

The guy has shown nothing. His college career was ok, his pro career zilch: **** the Packers look at him 8 days a week and just gave a 39 year old playoff choke artist $200 million. That says a lot. If they had 1 oz of confidence in him that deal never happens.

But yeah, we’re idiots for not wanting to overpay with a 2nd and a 4th for a slappy…haha. 👍

Damn glad you’re not in charge.

Look like i always preach some guys need to take time to develop, but honestly id rather us draft a guy in tge second then try to get every shiny new throwaway qb that comes on the market… last year it was Haskins, hey maybe he works out… or maybe rudy develops… id definitely want a guy who was a solid option in case our others bust, but not at a second round price

Id ratger gamble that second on ridder or willis or whomever is available than trade for love and his impending free agency in a couple years … wed have to make a decision about him on one year of data

Can’t you say the same for Rudolph and Haskins In terms of developing project?

The packers have basically said Love is not the guy. The Pack let Favre go because they had Rodgers. Now in the same situation, they break the bank to keep the old vet over the would be replacement. Not a ringing endorsement.

Yep. The Pack now trades Love since his first contract will basically run out before Rodgers is no longer the Packers QB.

Well the market will determine itself but the early one is saying a second. Maybe it's cheaper. Maybe it's none and the keep him as a backup for two years.

I’d throw a conditional 3rd for 2023. If he bears out Rudolph And throws for 3k+ then they get it. Otherwise it’s a 2023 7th

Hope not. would rather just let Mason have a chance

I will not continue. A 2 and a 4 are too much. He will end up somewhere maybe even with the Steelers but it shouldn't cost that much.

Right now someone with cap space should offer to take a high priced player off the packers hands with a reworked contract to give them maximum space in exchange for the packers giving them a pick

They are screwed capwise badly

No love for love....He's a project we don't have time for....Jameis Winston....Guys got a cannon, is a free agent coming off an injury and I kinda think we can get him from 8-12 million per year...Give him a 2 year deal...

This is exactly right. With how Rodgers was just stringing the team along, if they believed Love was the guy they would've have shipped Rodgers out of town.

Uh….no. He was a panic selection because the THEN brass thought ARod would hit the age brick wall, of which he hasn’t. He’s shown nothing. Even less than Trey Lance. Rudolph knows the offense and at least has started games and won.
