It was working in the first half. Yes seumalu got hurt. We cant put McCollum, Calvin Anderson or Andrus peat in for him so we can continue the Jumbo package? Spencer Anderson is all world ? He has to replace seumalu? WTF are these other guys doing in practice. They have all been on the team long enough to know the plays. ALL have limited starting NFL experience,, these are not noobs .

How do we just abandon the jumbo for the 2nd half? It clearly was part of our strategy. Yes i know the Defense crapped the bed. But i just dont get this decision.

I agree. But it shouldnt.. We are talkign about playing guard,, . These guys have to be chomping at the bit to play,, right? Right? i would be telling my position coach off if i was one of the 3 i mentioned.
They arent freshman on the varsity team.. IF you cant put one of them in there.. WTF are they doing on the roster as a back up on the 53. ?

I'm going to assume you were filled with distilled spirits when you typed this nugget of common sense. A sober Bleeder understands that with Mike T, common sense isn't common. :ROFLMAO:

I was texting a friend during the game and when it was announced that Seamalu was hurt I said that will impact the heavy set. It seemed like their answer was to bring Jonnu Smith more in tight. I thought I saw that on occasion. But it is confounding that if you rely on the package as they do you wouldn't have a better plan if someone got hurt. Maybe that's why Warren only got 3 touches after halftime.

I’d give him a crack at G

Or try Peat

Peat has played everywhere on the line
If he’s so bad he can’t play why is he on the roster

Keep Spencer Anderson in his role as 6thOL/ big TE and one of these other guys has to be serviceable or make some damn cuts and find someone who is.

Pisss poor coaching.

I’ve said for a long time that 1 player should not bring the whole game down. Coaching moves to compensate for the MIA player is the core culprit of said failure. Yes, a drop off from starter to back-up, but coaching is how you minimize that concern.

no totally sober this time.. It just make no sense,, to abandon what was working. ANd i cant get my head around the fact that nobody else could step in and play guard for seumalu
 
Warren is averaging 4.5 YPC and the most carries he has in a game is 18. He's only had two games with at least 20 touches. They need to find a way to get the ball in his hands. When it comes to weapons on offense, it's 1. DK and 2. Warren. I think there's a pretty sizeable gap after that.
