If Milroe played for LSU and had a 64% comp rate and 16Td to 11int, I'll bet you'd be as cold on him as the rest of us are, you homer! :ROFLMAO: I'd rather the Steelers bring back Jr Whopper hands than have Milroe under center. Wait, can he go under center?

Nah! Hard pass on Milroe for me! Big time project that needs to be developed. He’s got skills and played QB for the Tide in the SEC. He needs to go to a team where they have the proper coaches and schemes to develop him. A team like the Niners with Shanahan, the Rams with McVay, or the Vikings with O’Connell, not here. Tomlin and his cast of misfits would set this kid up to fail.

I'd opt for Milroe over Rogers anyday. But, I would prefer Bubby Brister over Rogers, to be honest.

You’re right you know……………….

Salute the nation

I'll say it, again, "Milroe, Milroe, Milroe!!!" --- suck on that *******!!!
Why write about how fans feel? Who the **** cares? Write about the pathetic state the Steelers are in being held hostage by Rodgers. Simply a fluff piece article about nothing we don't already know.....with the fan base angle being upset about the qb situation.

Rereading the back story for the 100th time was a good read though. Hopefully I will be able to reread it in a few 100 more articles in the near future.

Speaking of the elusive Aaron Rodgers who last seen was meditating in a dark cave. Did y’all know Aaron’s playoff record is 7-9? Fit in real well here huh?

Posted the below in the mock draft thread as well:

Not sure how tiny Lamar's hands are but if you read the below, it reads almost identical to what you see being said about Milroe. These came from 2 different reviews on Lamar. Looked this up out of pure curiosity.

Lamar Jackson, Louisville: Jackson is the ultimate playmaker in this draft. He has the ability to beat teams with his legs or his arm, but he has a tendency to miss on simple throws and hasn't proven he can slide to avoid hits outside the pocket.

Weaknesses:
· Inaccurate
· Poor footwork, which leads to inaccuracy
· Thin frame
· Needs to get stronger for the NFL
· Too much of one of the guys; could stand to be more of a leader
· Alarming wonderlic score (13)

Him and Jaxson Dart are both 6’2 225. Decent size.
Who is better I wonder.

I need to hear from FordFairlane on this matter.

Damn....Way to go Bubby....

Tomlin was there in person at Milroe's pro day today. I'm sure that MT's already fallen in love with that 4.37 forty time. Pedigree and all.

@bermudasteel may end up getting his wish.

IF they draft Milroe, it is 100% ROCK BOTTOM for this franchise. There is no doubt he was a big reason Saban retired, but will never admit it. He liked the kid but knew he couldn't win with him and didn't have the heart to recruit over him.

Absolute HORRIBLE QB....but that's what we like. I can't believe what I've watched in real-time for the last decade+. Tomlin should be in jail for grand theft IMO.

Milroe is a poor man's Justin Fields. He's THAT bad. What a complete abomination of a draft pick if they select him in any round.

Hurts has clearly succeeded. Tua would have been maybe better but he has soft head. Where do you rank this guy on the Crimson Chin scale. I've never seen a Bama QB lose that much.
Great question. My top six since 2008:

1. Bryce Young
2. Tua Tagovailoa
3. Jalen Hurts
4. A.J. McCarron
5. Mac Jones
6. Jalen Milroe

Obviously, Joe Namath is NUMBER ONE...but that's the wrong era of football...
