Just Made A Compilation Video - Entire Steelers Draft Class Highlights

Nice. First one in a long time I could watch with the sound on. Thanks for posting.

Love Zumwalt's suplex tackle.

If McCullers can be motivated he is a destroyer.

Watching the highlights of Dri Archer I can't believe all the Negative Nancy bitching going on about that pick. it's like he's in fast forward and everyone else on the field is in super slow mo. He runs with great vision just weaving his way around guys and running by them. Even if he's just a kick returner to start off.

Great job Darc!! Loved the entire compilation, in particular the Dri Archer stuff was awesome, showing his unique field awareness. Thanks for sharing!

We've needed a special teams weapon and he clearly is one. I'd be fine if that's all he ever did.

Other teams slept on this dude, and he has Hester-like potential. Guys were lined up with perfect tackling angles on him and never laid a finger on him. You can't coach that kind of ability.

I'd use him for returns, as a first-down back and as a receiver at times. The guy ran a 4.16 40! That's the fastest ever recorded at the combine.

It was my pleasure. I wanted to see the footage of these guys anyway, so I decided to just compile them so I could share what I found with all the Steelers fans out there.

And lets not sleep on Martavis Bryant. The kid is super fast for a big man.

But yeah...

He does catch with his body. Alot.

So while he may be good for some bombs, is he going to be dropping quick slants and costing us easy first downs?

That's what worries me.

He's got some speed, alright, and I think in time he'll mature into a decent long threat. At 6'5", he's gonna be hard to cover in the open field.

Everyone else on the field also played in the MAC, lol.

Through 5 years in college and 47 games (2009-2013, out 2011 with an injury) he played against 4 ranked teams:

2010:
Penn State (22)

2012:
Rutgers (18)
Nothern Illinois (19)

2013:
LSU (8)

Cumulative stats against ranked opponents:

37 Car, 120 Yds, 3.24 Avg, 2 TD
10 Rec, 140 Yds, 14 YPC,

Also, he's had 3 injuries. He's tiny, frail, and fumbles a lot. He's fast, but so is the rest of the NFL. The deck's stacked against him.

Thanks for the video, OP (original poster).

Dri Archer looks like a player on Tecmo Bowl, lol. Guys were tackling thin air for most of that video. I think I counted 3 plays where he didn't score.

Thanks for your effort!!! Really enjoyed that.

Yep loved at 10:42 when Zumwalt looks like he's in a midget tossing competition.....well until I remember we just spent a 3rd on such a midget.

Nice work on the video. Liked the Tull too.

1. If the soundtrack was "Dogs in the midwinter" they would look even better!

2. McCullers....Hope he is the new Casey. What is the nickname? Chewbacca? Sasquatch? He is a monster!

Regardless of the competititon at the time, he was still the fastest man in the entire NCAA - perhaps the fastest in history - and his last 40 time was registered as 4.16. I dare say that despite his size, he would be a terror in the open field and as a return man, as dangerous a runner as have come before him. Dri would also be useful on certain plays as either a running back or a wide receiver, even if he never touches the ball, simply because of the threat he poses to opponents as a breakaway player. Teams will have to adhust their schemes for him, and that will work to the Steelers' advantage.
