Just wondering...Any new season ticket holders?

Just curious if anyone here got season tickets this season, and if so, when they got on "the list." Just wondering since I dont really know where on the list I am.

The season ticket waiting list helps you get single day tickets, and offers for Steelers merch, but it doesn't get you season tickets. The PSL holders sell them on the open market when they no longer need them, as opposed to turning them back over to the team for no gain. As a result, you usually have to buy them from someone you know who is selling, or bid on them in an auction. I got lucky on Ebay in 2007.

Not all the seats are PSL, and they sent out letters to people who are close on the waiting list about purchasing PSL's for the new seats going in in the open endzone.

Steelerfreak, you can call the Steeler ticket office and they will tell you when you got on the waiting list and where they are at.

Yeah, 3,000 names. They sent me the forum as I'm still on the list even though I have season tickets through great friends. I gave them a call to see what the deal with it was. They informed me that they were just seeing peoples interest and it wasn't an official offer TK purchase the seats. But the PSL's were 4 grand for non club and 5 grand for club seats.

They are currently serving 1995. You have a long time to go Lol

Well that doesn't sound like a good thing for me. Oh well guess I will have to wait until they build the next stadium LOL

There are currently about 1900+ seats by around 750+ PSL owners listed for sale at Steelers.com in the the PSL listing section of the web site. If you really want seat just go there and make an offer. The average PSL price per seat in the 500 level, mid field is about $3700. The average price for those PSLs about 4 years ago was over $7000. It is a buyer's market right now.

Steeler tickets are pretty easy to come by. Face value on stub hub by game day every week.

I'm surprised there is still so much demand for season tickets. Between the cost, time commitment and variables like weather and how well the Steelers are playing the idea of season tickets doesn't appeal to me.
